BHVR please watch the first match of this video...
…to see how overpowered and broken slugging is. 120 seconds is too long to be downed. It is broken and uncounterable unless you have comms which is why several times I have suggested installing a comm system for survivors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIXH9x8y1jg

or.. you could just bring perks to counter it…

How are you supposed to know when a killer is going to slug though? You shouldn't have to bring conviction and soulguard for example every match in fear of slugging being abused. Either we need less time than 120 seconds being grounded, a comm system installed or these perks that counter slugging buffed.
-4 -
issue is slugging is needed half of the time due to things survivors bring or they play a lower killer/need pressure
3 -
Exactly. Its an exploitable non counterable mechanic. BHVR watch all the videos there. The proof is right there it needs addressed. Don't listen to these killer mains who just want matches to be miserable for survivors. Slugging at 5 gens=guaranteed win.
-5 -
then are you as equal to help killers who are genrushed? or forced to slug? or constantly harrassed by tbagging at the exit gate?
3 -
Theres no such thing as gen rushing. Its called survivors doing the objective. Gen speeds are very slow nerfed to take a full 90 seconds to complete. Have a nice day. Not wasting time conversing with killler mains. This post is meant for bhvr to see.

They barely even tried to outplay it
Deerstalker is reworked, knockout as well and as soon as ruin is over in this build killer chose you’ll have easier time. But it requires at least for one survivor to hold chase longer than 10 sec so other 3 can reset
This build even not on ptb simply doesn’t work. Trying to justify ptb changes through video with old meta - is just… unserious. Because problem on video was ALREADY addressed

Because there are no comms to do callouts that killer is slugging. Thank you. Have a nice day.

You literally have aura of slugged survivor lol? Then add more call outs and not free unbreakable to fix survivor distress about fact of being downed in second lol. People on these video were literally spoiling game for themselves clicking their fav flashlights instead of getting distance and messing with pallet throw timings, but you trying to make it killer player problem.
2 -
They werent spoiling. There is literally nothing you can do about this tactic. You go save them you get slugged you dont they bleed out. It is too strong. The video footage is all that needs to be said.
-2 -
not gonna lie, this post is just showing another hypocrisy, especially after your take that gen rush doesn’t exist as concept. Not gonna argue with it just because it’s useless, if you genuinely believe in survivor’s helplessness
2 -
Should we just not do gens? Maybe we should just run up to the killer according to you right? lol Have a nice day.
-1 -
Did I say that? No. I don’t appreciate when my words are just distorted to suit salty sentiment
2 -
Calling out a flaw in the game is salty? With video proof? Sure sounds like it to me you're saying for survivors not do their objective….lol
-1 -
This video proof is outdated at least, at max its actually counterable now even without perks in solo. Just have a chase longer than 10 sec in sake of team not being slugged in same place
2 -
Sure you keep thinking that killer main. Either you never played survivor in your life or you are low MMR. Not outdated at all. The video says it all BHVR.

The irony of using a (OLD) quiet kills video for this.
First off he is using (old) knock out which hides auras of down survs an issue that only effects soloq and was re-worked for it. Second he is using an iri-addon to get extra pressure at the start of the match with an add that again hides auras while infected so after a min into the match he only has one add on. (Also it was essentially a 3v1 the first game as one gave up and hid in a locker for the rest of the match)
Quietkills is player that had a lot of time in the game and regularly gets wins with perk-less trapper so he is an above average player.
Looking at the first game one guy gave up immediately going AFK in a locker and made multiple misplays like not spreading out to minimise infection, not prepping EMP's or cleansing mid chase but again it was a 3v1 from the start anyway so not a good example.
Looking at the second game they did not play very well not being efficient with EMP's and falling for simple mind games like he just stares at a guy and he vaults to him?
Overall singularity is a killer that can slug better that most other killers due to teleportation being a killer that demands that you play efficiently as him. So to say that due to this one instance slugging should be guttered is just disingenuous he would have won anyway even if he did not this is just cherry picking to try and get something you don't like removed.

Killer main argument never will stop amuse me, because I playing surv more than killer :)
2 -
Sure you do.
-2 -
Yeah.
2 -
Not outdated?
Two of the perks in the video were reworked to no longer be a slugging type perk.
1 -
Doesnt matter if theres an aura or not. Still a busted mechanic. You try to save the slug you get downed. You don't and you lose a teammate. Theres literally nothing you can do if killer decides to abuse this mechanic.
-1 -
Looks fun huh?
-1 -
Look at this. How is this not an issue?
-2 -
That's endgame with six survivors choosing not to leave in the face of a lost cause.
Game could have ended with a score of 6 to 2, killers losing. Instead it ended 5 to 3, killers losing.
What's the only thing (in 2 v 8) killers can do to create enough time to hook everybody to death? Perform a lot of knockdowns.
What's the only thing (in standard) lower tier killers can do to create enough time to hook everybody to death? Perform a lot of knockdowns (unless anti-slug perks screw them over).
A lot of you guys really ought to quit acting like the way you feel matters more than what's fair in an asymmetrical situation. You can't just have endurance butt in and bail you out of every scenario you don't like.
