DbD offline mode

Dear Devs,

in the past it was already requested that we get an offline mode for dbd like below:

Yes while this has been posted before I will say it again. With the addition of bots into DBD on custom, we should have an offline launching option since you get auto-disconnected on launch if the launcher detects no internet connection to the server. This offline launching path would only give you access to the custom mode with bots with access to all of your killers native game and licensed, survivors native game and license with their cosmetics you rightfully purchased. This mode does not require internet and would be great for those on the go. For the argument of everyone has an internet connection, this isn't the issue. It is the core fact that if servers go down at any point or one day shut down altogether for this game when the game is no longer profitable like any other mandatory internet connection game will, all of your progress, items, killers, survivors, cosmetics and importantly money you spent will all disappear forever. This is the obvious dystopian future of game design that just isn't consumer friendly. Which is a shame with a game that has this many awesome licenses all in one place. You do not own this game it is a rental you purchased in its current state. Please add the offline launching option other games give you this option on steam launch to ask which method you would like to launch the game.

Im not sure why it isnt available yet but I really really dont wanna risk the same destiny like death garden in the past and I totally agree with the comment of the other users which I copied here. It will not hurt to enable an offline mode - in fact I would be more open to invest more money in the game cause I have to be less afraid that everything is lost because at some point the game will not be that popular cause of well the cycle of game popularity.

I would really appreciate it if some dev could give a response here.

Agreed! Would be a useful safe environment for people to diagnostic their rigs for errors with the game.
