Why is everything dwindling in dbd? Less event cosmetics, shards, less rift cosmetics etc.

What's going on? Can we get some transparency? Why are we getting more and more stingy with shards and event cosmetics?

The stanard for event cosmetics has been 6 killer weapons, 6 survivor sweaters… now it's 3 each?

Also ZERO new festive themed skins for survivors this year in the shop (not counting sweaters) as well as for original killers. All we get is 2 skins in the shop for 2 liscensed killers?

The amount of shards we have gotten has dwindled each year with the daily login calender, but this year it's less than half of what it was last year. This is a paid game yet it is still so stingy with any in-game currency. Marvel rivals which is a free game gives out units (which is used for skins and other cosmetics) for achievements, for anniversarys, for quests, for the battlepass, and a pretty significant amount of it… like what's going on here dbd?

And the rift, its so short and devoid of anything, yet it's longer than normal and priced the same. It's also missing a head piece for claudette that's apparently not up to standard, and had no badge or banner for the main survivor of the rift.

All these things are meant to incentivise players to… play. Yet here we are doing not even the bare-minimum. I've had no incentive to play. So I haven't, nothing interesting or new or different. It's just stale.

Not to mention pushing back stuff and fully commiting a team to something that needs a lot of feedback in the idea phase is insane. We haven't commited to the big anti tunnel and slugging updates twice now, you could have saved all that time (months and months) and resources/money if you just talked with the community or the creators in the creator program (who i thought were mean't to give feedback anyway) in the first place, they would have instantly said it's a no go and ta da, now we can iterate and improve it based on the feedback.

This year has been pretty terrible for dbd, so much unprofessionalism in the way things have been handled and the state that the game has been left in. Maybe the layoffs werent such a good idea after all… im lookin at you bhvr. 👀

To say I'm disappointed is putting it lightly. And I mean all of this out of love, I'm so critical about the game because of how much I have enjoyed it over the years and I want to see it flourish.

Most likely in the quest they are releasing when the event starts on 9th.

Less people buy stuff because they're unhappy with the state of the game.

So they probably decide to force us to buy stuff by giving us less free stuff.

My biggest concern was when they nerfed anniversary cakes for p100s. If i was putting them on p100s, id have to spend entire prestiges worth to get up to 100, while leveling up lara croft, i managed to get her over 1100. So why nerf 1 and make the other able to get them in bulk? Same with any event offerings now.

One "normal" cosmetic piece costs 7200 shards.

And these don´t go on discount, only the money option.

Also the amount of cosmetics has increased immensly over time. To be fair we get shards in the rift now but i hardly see a problem with giving some more for x-mas time…

Also for me the injured voices for Walking Dead are a massive letdown.
