Killer Concept: The Seeker

Hey! This is a killer idea my friend sent me. I believe it is loosely based on the Call of Duty series. It is incomplete and has similarities to existing killers, we are still ironing out the bumps. I hope you enjoy.

Power Overview

Drone Deployment:

The Seeker spawns with 1 drone, which takes 10 seconds to activate.

Drones have 20 charges (battery life), consuming 1 charge every 3 seconds while active.

Only 1 drone can be stored in inventory at a time; stored drones recharge 1 charge per second (triple speed).

Drones have a 20m detection range.

Drone Spotlight:

Always visible to survivors (shows where the drone is looking).

Hidden from Seeker while controlling manually to avoid visual clutter.

Drone Commands

Command Description

Control Manual control of a drone. Seeker becomes undetectable. Moves at 5 m/s. After 3s line-of-sight on a survivor, fires an EMD grenade, applying a tracking device and their aura is revealed for 8s.

Shooting an EMD at a tracked survivor takes twice as long, reveals their aura for another 8 seconds, and grants another token, the EMD Primer fades twice as fast when line of sight is broken.

Press control/left bumper while looking at a drone to control it.

Hold control to bring up a radial menu for the next 3 commands

Pursue Drone automatically follows a tracked survivor. Lock-on requires 3s LoS.

Patrol Drone follows a path drawn by the Seeker. Stops if disabled, recalled, or detects tracked survivor.

Recall / Stored Drone Instantly stores drone in inventory. Only 1 stored drone at a time. Fully charged drones can be redeployed.

Ping (Upgrade) Upgrade command (2 tokens). Marks a location. Closest drone flies to the location in Patrol mode. Automatically switches to Pursue if a survivor is nearby.

Rest Drone rests on the ground, recharging 1 charge every 3s. Can be disabled by survivors. Disabled drones cannot recharge outside inventory.

This happens automatically if the drone runs out of battery

The radial menu has one slot replaced with the command you’re switching off of, ex, pursuit turns into control when switching to it.

Drone Upgrades – Full Details

Tokens are earned by successfully applying tracking devices via drones. All upgrades are purchased at laptop terminals near resupply crates.

Upgrade Cost Detailed Explanation

Extra Drone 2 tokens Adds 1 additional drone to the Seeker’s roster (max 3). Encourages multi-point map coverage. Only one drone can be stored or controlled at a time, so the Seeker must strategically rotate drones.

UCAV 3 tokens Drones can now ram survivors, slowing them by 20% for 5 seconds. If the survivor has a tracking device, the ram inflicts 1 health state (injury). Requires 2s charge-up, flies forward constantly at 8 m/s. Colliding with terrain or survivors disables the drone temporarily, requiring 5s to power on again. Adds a high-risk/high-reward offensive tool.

Environmental Break 2 tokens (requires UCAV) Drones with ramming can now break pallets and walls, clearing survivor loops. Increases pressure during chases and forces survivors to move more cautiously.

UAV Scan 1 token Temporarily reveals all tracked survivors’ auras for 8 seconds. Ideal for mid-to-late game, confirming positions before chase or generator patrol.

CUAV Stealth 1 token Seeker becomes undetectable for 30 seconds. Useful for repositioning, surprise drone deployment, or aggressive map control. Does not affect drone visibility to survivors.

Ping Command 2 tokens Adds Ping command to drones. Marks a map location; the closest drone automatically flies there in Patrol mode. Automatically switches to Pursue if a survivor is near. Excellent for strategic repositioning of drones and pressuring survivors on objectives.

Laptop / Computer Interaction

The laptop is a core part of the Seeker’s strategy.

1. Purchase Upgrades

Seeker can spend earned tokens to unlock upgrades at laptops.

Only upgrades with prerequisites are available.

2. Patrol Path Drawing

Laptop allows drawing Patrol paths for drones.

Paths persist until the drone completes the route, is disabled, or switches to Pursue.

---

Battery Management

Active drones: 1 charge per 3s.

Resting drones: 1 charge per 3s on the ground.

Stored drones: 1 charge per second.

Disabled drones: cannot recharge outside inventory; must be recalled fully to redeploy.

Strategic Choice: Leaving drones resting slows recharge but maintains map presence, while storing a drone allows quick redeployment for emergencies or upgrades.

Survivor Counterplay

Resupply Crates

8 crates spawn per trial.

Survivors interact for 5s to obtain items.

EMP Grenade

Single-use item from crates.

Thrown like a flashbang, 10m radius.

Effects:

Removes all tracking devices from survivors.

Temporarily disables all drones for 10s (battery remains intact).

Provides a tactical window to break pursuit, escape objectives, or loop drones temporarily.

The Seeker – Add-ons

Visceral (Ultra Rare) – 2

1. Quantum Uplink

Effect: Using UAV instantly recharges 2 drones.

Increases UAV cost to 2 tokens

Flavor: “No waiting. No limits.”

2. Advanced CUAV System

Effect: CUAV stealth duration increased to 45 seconds.

Increased CUAV cost to 2 tokens

Flavor: “Disappear from their eyes completely.”

---

Purple (Very Rare) – 4

1. Overclocked Processor

Effect: Drones in Patrol and pursuit lock onto survivors 1s faster (3s → 2s).

Increase their battery consumption by 25%

Flavor: “Everything runs faster under pressure.”

2. Titanium Frame

Effect: Ram upgrade doesn't stop at pallets and walls.

The drone takes 2 extra seconds to power up again.

Flavor: “Nothing stops the Seeker.”

3. Rapid Recall Module

Effect: Recall time is 25% shorter

Flavor: “Ready for redeployment in an instant.”

4. Enhanced Ram Actuator

Effect: Drones ram slowdown lasts an extra second on survivors.

Flavor: “Every hit counts.”

---

Blue (Rare) – 5

1. Jumpstart Module

Effect: Decreases deploy time by 12%

Flavor: “Quick deployment saves lives—or ends them.”

2. Reinforced Chassis

Effect: Drones survive one collision with terrain or walls without being disabled.

This will allow a second ram that will never hurt, but will hinder.

This causes the drones battery to be drained by 5 charges.

Flavor: “Built to take a hit.”

Mori

A drone flies out from behind the seeker as the survivor begins to stand up, ramming into them, knocking them down again, the seeker stabs them with his spear as the drone powers on again and shoot the survivor with an EMD, causing their head to explode.
