Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Trapper Rework

I thought of an idea for trapper that could make him a bit more viable in the current environment of DBD!

So, you know how when "The Houndmaster" sends Snug to search an area that orange path appears that allows her to follow behind him at an increased speed? I was thinking that when "The Trapper" manages to grab a survivor in a trap a path appears in the direction of that trapped survivor that increases his speed to X number m/s.

This change could allow him to get to the survivor a lot quicker if they're across the map but also prevent him from just using his increased haste to get anywhere he wants—this only allows him to get to objectives that may be on the way to that survivor. I'm thinking that in response to this the max amount of attempts to untrap yourself should be lowered to 4 and it should take just a bit less time to actually complete each attempt. Currently, escape attempts take 1.8 seconds for the trapped survivor and 1.5 seconds for the rescuing survivor. They could be reduced to 1.6 seconds and 1.3 seconds respectively.

Another change I was thinking of was letting him throw his traps—not at survivors, but onto the ground from farther away, maybe up to around 4 meters. This allows you to throw a trap down in the middle of chase so you don't have to lose all momentum just to create pressure in said chase. After throwing them they could take 10 seconds to open.

This was a very spur of the moment idea so, obviously, it might seem unbalanced in some aspects. I would really like to hear some of your ideas!
