What is the best way to use this perk?

    Like pre dropping pallets, you pre drop the illusion and start sneaking away, it gives you an extra second to sneak out of range where theyd start looking around the generator. Its also usefull on exit gates (if youve managed to build up enough gen points to use it by then) as you can use it to pretend you are opening a specific gate, and go for the other one. Its still more of a joke perk as the only real use you get out of it is making the killer try to attack the illusion. Which buys you time to vanish or keep the killer interested in the area. It also works on totems.

    You can put it on chests so that means you can place one near a loop where the killer will see it and then start doing the chest when you break los, making it look like you are the illusion. It's a really funny stealth tactic.

    And another way to use it is to place thr illusion on the side of the generator that the killer is most likely to come from, then work on the opposite side. If its in the killer shack that could buy you a second to reach the window, or legion might frenzy into the illusion not seeing you are on the other side even with killer instinct. And if a generator is very close to being done it might buy you just enough time as they will hear the gen is almost done and be frantic to get you off the gen, and try to grab your illusion.

    But this is all chance based too as the illusion is kinda obvious to people who have seen it allot, and people who have never seen it will almost always fall for it (since its so rarely used). I have aestri at 86 and just use her 3 perks with bottonny knowledge most of the time.
