DS should be nerfed to 40 seconds, just like OTR, because survivors weaponize it

DS should be nerfed to 40 seconds, just like OTR, because survivors weaponize it against killers that are trying to chase someone else.

OTR literally got nerfed to 40 seconds because survivors were weaponizing it, and survivors do the exact same things with DS. And since DS is going to be a free perk, now it the perfect time to look into rebalancing it so it's fair for both sides of the game.

    To be fair, that wasn't really an effective or healthy nerf for Off The Record either. Aggressive use of it is still just as possible and not much really changed for either aggressive or defensive uses of the perk.

    OTR is actually possible to weaponise in general, too, so if it wasn't effective there I see no reason to do it for DS as well.

    I'm not saying aggressive use of anti-tunnel isn't a problem, just that shortening the durations like that isn't really going to address it properly. More holistic changes are needed.

    Never lol, if anything this game needs Dead Hard for distance along with 5 second DS and no more conspicuous actions system. Of course a lot of other things will need to be changed as well to compensate. Game's an actual disaster right now.

    The game needs a full restructure at this moment now, the developers listened to the negative minds in the community, now we're stuck with DBD being "symmetrical", it's absolutely terrible.

    The other BEST idea is to add a DBD Legacy mode, and we'll actually see which game does better. EVEN Patrick and Almos design was FAR superior to this one lol.

    No, this game needs more anti tunneling stuffs. Survivors try’s to force DS are so obvious you can ignore them or slug them. If you eat a DS by tunneling, is more than deserved.

    Changes I'd like to see on DS:

    → Increase stun duration to 5s

    → Pause the duration when slugged

    → Now every hook disables all active ds, meaning if survivor is saved by someone else is hooked meantime, their ds will be deactivated
