Bots Being Controlled by Players
Lately, I've run into a particularily frustrating aspect of DBD. Killers taking advantage of Bots. I load in, my teammate dcs for whatever reason and immediately, the game has the single dumbest survivor ever created. Bots only do a handful of things well, but they are far far from being reliable or consistent. They go down against certain killers EXTREMLEY easily, they run from terror radius even when on different floors, they will not commit to a save or a heal, but then randomly decide to throw the game for a save last second when it's already over, they also will do this obnoxious thing where they don't try to stay discreet while keeping a goal in plan (Going to hook, and inseta dof stealthing they run away at terror radius), instead they scurry away like a person who just bought the game. THEY ARE HINDERANCES.
And lately, I've noticed an extremely obnoxious trend of Killers using them as a means of leverage, by having a Dopey lil lackey that cannot commit tasks, sell-out slugs, and overall act as insurance in a game that is already in their favor.
My idea is simple, if Bots cannot be made more reliable, allow a Survivor that is in the Dying State or Hooked to control a bot (Switch to their POV) That way if the Killer is just taking advantage of a Bot in the game, a Survivor at the very least can do something meaningful in the Bot's place as recompense.
Or you know, make them less Lobotomized, Behaviour. That could be nice.
