Survey about 10killers Idea for buff. Feedback from 89 thai players.

Hello, I’m JohnVelma, a Creator Program Gold Tier member from Thailand. This is a survey I created for January 2026, with 89 Thai players participating.

The origin of this survey comes from my previous survey, which included a question asking which killers players most wanted to see buffed the top 10. That earlier survey had 54 Thai participants, and I took the top 10 killers that were selected and used them as the basis for this latest survey.

This survey is a collection of my own ideas for buffs and reworks for each killer, and Thai players were invited to vote on which ideas they liked the most. Of course, some ideas may be extreme or have certain limitations, but I hope they can be used as inspiration or reference data for BHVR’s consideration. Thank you.

The Trapper

Why Should The Trapper receive buff ?

  • This character’s gameplay is too outdated for the current state of the game (in terms of character abilities). 58.4% from 52votes.

The Trapper buff you want ? (Choose 3 options)

  • The game starts with all Bear Traps in your hand as the basekit. 58.4% from 52votes.
  • After set and arm a bear trap, you gain the same Haste status (7.5%), but for a longer duration, such as 10 seconds (was 5). 50.6% from 45votes.
  • After setting and arming a bear trap, you gain increased Haste at 10% (was 7.5%), while the duration remains the same at 5 seconds. 38.2% from 34votes.
  • Make the add-on Iridescent Stone to basekit. 44.9% from 40votes.
  • You are no longer caught in your own Bear Traps and your own Bear Trap not active. (similar to Phantasm Trap, active with only survivor) 75.3% from 67votes.
  • If there are any survivors within a 3-meter radius of disarmed bear trap, their aura will be revealed to you. 32.6% from 29votes.

Trapper's Add-ons

Iridescent Stone : How would you like to buff or rework it? (Choose 1 Option).

  • Reduce time for resets and arms a random disarm Bear Trap to every 20 seconds (was 30). 32.6% from 29votes.
  • New ability added: If a survivor is near a randomly selected Bear Trap that resets and arms, their aura will be revealed. 19.1% from 17votes.
  • New ability added: Disarmed traps, After a trap is reset and armed, each subsequent disarm will take 10% longer, up to a maximum of 50%. (Like Pill Bottle, The Nightmare's Add-Ons) 48.3% from 43votes.

Trapper Sack : How would you like to buff or rework it? (Choose 1 Option).

  • Removed : You can no longer pick up any placed Bear Traps, only reset them. 59.6% from 53votes.
  • Rework : While The Trapper is not holding a Bear Trap, he gains 3% Haste until he enters a chase or picks up a Bear Trap. 40.4% from 36votes.

The GhostFace

The GhostFace buff you want ? (Choose 3 options).

  • Crouching movement speed increased to 4.0 m/s (was 3.8) 66.3% from 59votes.
  • Active and Passive Stalking movement speed while crouched and standing increased to 1.0 m/s (equal to The Nemesis’s basekit Zombies) 24.7% from 22votes.
  • Night Shroud cooldown now depends on actions: 20 seconds if a MARKED is successfully achieved. 18 seconds if unsuccessful or if revealed by Survivors (similar to The Doctor’s STATIC BLAST) 36% from 32votes.
  • Undetectable status will remain for 5 seconds after being revealed by Survivors or after manually cancelling Night Shroud. 48.3% from 43votes.
  • Window vault speed and pallet breaking speed are increased when not using Night Shroud, and reduced while Night Shroud is active. 62.9% from 56votes.
  • While Night Shroud is on cooldown, Ghost Face gains 3% Haste until Night Shroud already or he enters a chase with a Survivor. 61.8% from 55votes.

The Skull Merchant buff you want ? (Choose 3 options).

  • Bring back Stealth Drones. 49.4% from 44votes.
  • Bring back 2 Scan Lines. 73% from 65votes.
  • Revert to Patch 9.3.0, restoring the Undetectable status when deploying a Drone. 39.3% from 35votes.
  • Reduce the maximum Hacking timer to 20 seconds (from 30). 32.6% from 29votes.
  • New ability added : If a Survivor stays within a Drone’s radius for too long (without being detected by the Scan Lines), their location will be revealed on the Radar until they leave the Drone’s range. 53.9% from 48votes.
  • New rework: based on the Preview Design previously released by BHVR. 51.7% from 46votes.

The Pig

The Pig buff you want ? (Choose 3 options).

  • Survivors begin the Trial with Reverse Bear Traps installed as basekit, and The Pig still has 4 additional Reverse Bear Traps in hand. 47.2% from 42votes.
  • Allow The Pig to see Jigsaw Boxes Aura again, as she could previously. 55.1% from 49votes.
  • Increase crouch movement speed to 4.2 m/s (was 4.0, equal to The Shape’s Evil Within I) 37.1% from 33votes.
  • When a Survivor’s Reverse Bear Trap becomes active, that Survivor’s aura is briefly revealed. 33.7% from 30votes.
  • While charging Ambush Dash, The Pig can still move, but at a reduced speed, instead of being completely stationary. (similar to The Wraith when uncloak) 59.6% from 53votes.
  • When The Pig uses Ambush Dash toward a dropped pallet or a vaultable window, she can vault through it, similar to The Mastermind’s VIRULENT VAULT. 67.4% from 60votes.

The Houndmaster

The Houndmaster buff you want ? (Choose 3 options).

  • Increases the Movement speed of The Houndmaster to 6m/s (was 5.2) after travelling along the Search Path for a certain distance. 39.3% from 35votes.
  • After a Survivor escapes from a Dog Grab, the Hindered status persists for an additional 5 seconds. 34.8% from 31votes.
  • In SEARCH mode, While the dog is not with The Houndmaster and The Houndmaster no travelling along the Search Path, The Houndmaster gains 4% Haste as basekit until the dog returns. 43.8% from 39votes.
  • If a Survivor who is Dog Grabbed manages to break free (when pallet stun), that Survivor will immediately become injured and gain the Deep Wound status, similar to Death­slinger’s BREAKING THE CHAIN. 52.8% from 47votes.
  • In CHASE mode, the dog can still Dog Grab Survivors if a Survivor is directly in front of the dog while it is running back to the Houndmaster after a missed attack. 60.7% from 54votes.
  • In SEARCH mode, the dog can Dog Grab if it detects a Survivor within the Houndsense radius (it will grab the closest Survivor). This Dog Grab functionality applies both when sending the dog out and when recalling it, and remains active until the dog returns to the Houndmaster and the ability enters cooldown. 68.5% from 61votes.

The Hag

  • The Hag can move immediately after teleporting to a Phantasm Trap as basekit. 50.6% from 45votes.
  • The Hag gains temporary Haste after teleporting to a Phantasm Trap (could be basekit or an add-on). 57.3% from 51votes.
  • Survivors who trigger a Phantasm Trap or remain within its radius gain the Hindered status, and Hindered lingers briefly after leaving the trap’s range, as basekit. 36% from 32votes.
  • When a Phantasm Trap is triggered by a Survivor, that Survivor’s aura is revealed, as basekit. 49.4% from 44votes.
  • After destroying a Phantasm Trap, Survivors should receive a short-duration negative status effect, such as Blindness, Exhausted, or Oblivious (could be basekit or add-ons). 52.8% from 47votes.
  • After teleporting to a Phantasm Trap, The Hag temporarily gains increased lunge attack range. 53.9% from 48votes.

The Dredge

The Dredge buff you want ? (Choose 3 options).

  • When The Dredge is hiding inside a locker, Survivors cannot see The Dredge’s smoke VFX until they are within 1.5 meters of that locker. 42.7% from 38votes.
  • Survivors cannot destroy The Dredge’s Remnants. 34.8% from 31votes.
  • Increase The Dredge’s movement speed while using DELUGE OF FEAR to 4.0 m/s (from 3.8). 51.7% from 46votes.
  • Reduce DELUGE OF FEAR cooldown during Daytime to 8 seconds (from 10). 38.2% from 34votes.
  • Nightfall Rework: Nightfall is active at all times. A Nightfall zone exists as a circular radius (~40 meters) around The Dredge. Survivors within 40 meters of The Dredge become Oblivious and experience Nightfall-like VFX. When Nightfall charges are fully accumulated, the Nightfall effect expands from the 40-meter radius to cover the entire map. 62.9% from 56votes.
  • While teleporting to a locker, The Dredge can cancel the teleport early and emerge at the furthest point reached during the teleport. Example: if The Dredge hears Survivors healing during teleport, it can exit the teleport immediately and begin the chase. Possible balance options include alerting nearby Survivors when The Dredge exits teleport, or briefly preventing The Dredge from attacking after exiting the teleport. 69.7% from 62votes.

The Demogorgon

  • Increase the number of Portals to 8 (was 6). 38.2% from 34votes
  • Increase the time required to Seal a Portal to 15 / 12 / 11 / 9 seconds, up from 12 / 9 / 8 / 6 seconds (based on the number of Survivors sealing the Portal: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4). 47.2% from 42votes.
  • When Survivors attempt to Seal a Portal, they are faced with a continuous stream of Skill Checks (like Merciless Storm of Sadako). Failing a Skill Check will temporarily lock the Portal, preventing it from being sealed for a short duration; however, the Demogorgon can still use that Portal normally. 64% from 57votes.
  • When Survivors successfully Seal a Portal, they become Oblivious for a short time and their auras are revealed to you. 55.1% from 49votes.
  • Portal Rework 1: All Portals are automatically placed near Generators, matching the total number of Generators in the match (similar to Alien’s tunnels or Sadako’s TVs). Portals cannot be destroyed but can be temporarily disabled by Survivors. 37.1% from 33votes.
  • Portal Rework 2: All Portals are automatically placed near Generators, matching the total number of Generators in the match (similar to Alien’s tunnels or Sadako’s TVs). Portals cannot be destroyed but can be temporarily disabled by Survivors. In addition, you have 2 Portals that you can manually place; these two Portals can be destroyed by Survivors. 58.4% from 52votes.

The Good Guy

  • Hidey-Ho Mode has no usage time limit, Until a basic attack or Slice & Dice is used. (like Night Shroud of the ghot face). 42.7% from 38votes.
  • Increase movement speed when using Slice & Dice. 37.1% from 33votes.
  • Adjust the controls (Camera) to make turning or maneuvering easier. 67.4% from 60votes.
  • Increased the Turn Rate limit to 540 (was 300/like Blood Fury of Oni). 53.9% from 48votes
  • Adjust the frequency of the voice-over (makes The Good Guy talk or laugh less when in Hidey-Ho Mode). 32.6% from 29votes.

The Unknow

  • After teleporting, The Unknown gains the Undetectable status for a short duration. 58.4% from 52votes.
  • Reduced teleport cooldown to 20 seconds (was 25). 31.5% from 28votes.
  • Weakened Rework : In addition to being applied when hit by UVX, the Weakened status can also be applied by destroying a hallucination. 43.8% from 39votes.
  • Weakened Rework : Weakened can no longer be removed by looking directly at The Unknown. To remove it, survivors must destroy a Hallucination instead. 43.8% from 39votes.
