Tunneling Is Getting Ridiculous
I've been playing this game for a while now, but MY GOD does this happen way too often. One time I played five matches as a survivor and only ONE of those matches I didn't get tunneled. I know the devs have been working on anti-tunneling but whatever they've done up till now is NOT working. PLEASE give killers harsher punishments against this (I play both sides btw and YES I know I'm basically just complaining but I figured I had to put it out there still to express how bad it is).

No, they didn't. The definition they used for "tunneling" was so broad that whatever statistic they gave is completely meaningless. They couldn't even remember what their own definitions were on the stream.

They should rename the game to Dead by Tunneling.
Of all things, foolish Team-mates who pull me off hook next to the killer, Killers who camp to tunnel or high speed killers that go across map in seconds to tunnel me. Its absurd gameplay and I honestly think people are getting VERY tired of it.

Im so glad ds is a general perk now.
Im glad bt is 15s now. (Should've given elusive too ngl).
Now, everyone can somewhat reasonably run ds and unbrrakable....even though those perks only work once and barely do anything against high tiers,
while doing tunneling and slugging, doesnt require a perk usage....makes semse. Lol

Tunneling has a natural defense, it's called looping. You already have basekit anti-camp, anti-loop, lots of perks to help you, windows and pallets everywhere etc etc. The devs have WAY better stuff they should be working on instead of something that has natural counters. Some killers have to tunnel just to keep it fair after all the free-rides survivors are getting now.

2.) Stop clinging to made-up cope concepts.
3.) Accept that the game can be over 4 minutes from the start, most of the killer roster cannot 12-hook inside of 4 minutes, and there's no time to gauge the skill of a team before it's too late.

Not to put you on blast too hard here, but I feel the two halves of your point here can't possibly both be true at once?
If tunnelling has natural, realistic, reliable counters, surely killers wouldn't be able to use it to keep up and level the playing field against supposedly unfair survivor benefits.
If tunnelling is seen as an answer to all the heat survivors have, doesn't that imply that it's a tool on the same level? If it's balanced and fair, it wouldn't be able to level the playing field against things that aren't balanced and fair, right?

What do you mean they didn't, if they posted the data then denying it doesn't make sense, why not just only say the data was vague. I don't have the other slide but i'm sure it gave context as to what they considered hard tunneling.

I don't think all tunneling is bad. Tunneling at low gens is simply understandable, asking killers not do that is asking for free wins.
Tunneling from first hook is problematic for casual games, but that's quite rare for me. It usually happens when survivors unhook early.If you have issue with tunneling, use perks against it… I don't have issue with me getting tunneled, so that's why I have Babysitter in most of my builds, so I help others with it.

Don't blame killers for using META. Blame the lazy devs. Make meta something fun for everyone, it's easy. Unlock a 5th perk when you get 3 unique hooks. Or when you get 2 unique hooks all gens regress 10%.

Genrush and tunneling been in the game since ever. Genrush is the most common reason why tunneling happens. Both sides want to win and it's competitive pvp game. Where's the problem? Don't want to be tunneled, hold killer for others to do gen.

Survivors are simultaneously whiny babies who can't learn to loop AND an unstoppable force that you need tunneling to defeat.

What you need for said defense :
Meanwhile killers dont need 1200+ hours to tunnel. Noir do they need to bring perks just to counter something they can do basekit.

You would either complain how sweaty survivors are if you did get what you want, complain about swfs or complain how this also makes majority of the low tiers unplayable if they did that.
Long ass guide videos just to play a single map can go on for hours, which, again, is unreasonable to ask for when killers dont even need 100hrs ingame to consistently win with their powers. (Not to mention how often they rework and change maps)

By your logic any complains you have for killer is invalid because "its just a made up concept" like genrushing or abusing impossible to win against certian perk combos

for the people, 2nd wind. / plot-twist, deliverance / hyperfocus, stake out / sprint-burst vigil / 1234, bardic.
Killers wouldnt get buffed either because all it really is, is just a skill issue or a made up concept.

Simple idea. Punish tunnel and punish looping. Otherwise, learn to counter.
