Old OG survivors - please do not change their voices

As you could have seen with Steve, people get upset when their favorite character's voice is completely swapped with another one. It feels like a different character, different vibe. And while maybe you had to change his voice due to licensing reasons (I have no clue), you should hopefully have complete freedom over the original survivors.

You might be wanting to add voice lines to every survivor, but I'm sure most of people dont' want to have to listen to survivors constantly yapping in the lobby. For me, it's really nice to select a survivor, and they don't speak. Leon for example is one of my favorite survivors, but I don't really care for his lobby lines. What matters to me is his in-game voice sounds. Those sounds are what I experience during gameplay, they give me a feel for the character.

Also, adding voice lines to older characters might require you to completely replace their in-game voices - which would cause a big backlash. We are used to characters sounding a certain way. And especially with characters in which we've invested a lot of time in (P100-ing, playing as, etc.), as well as money, it would be a big blow to have their current voices just taken away. It kind of feels like when a favorite actor in a show gets replaced with another one. It's just not the same.

I personally would be very upset if you'd replace David's or Ace's voice, for example. Their voice sounds are a huge part in why I love them, why I've played them a lot, and P100-ed them. Having their voices replaced would just be awful to me.

So I'm asking you to please just keep things simple with already existing original survivors. No need to spend time and money on adding voice lines that are unnecessary, and especially it's not worth it upsetting the community by butchering their established character by taking away their established voice.

    Ironically i can't remember what the original Jonah Vasquez sounded like lol

    And it would be a nice chance to get the current voice actors to come back after so long and add more to the characters. Not sure if 10 years would effect the sound of their voices or not tho. Or even the sound quality of the equipment may have changed since the original voice clips. Some may not be able to return ar all.

    As for licensed, I want Claire changed ASAP, she sounds nothing like her for example.

    I also really enjoy the voicelines between the walking dead Characters, would love to see them for the RE cast.

    Original survivors I think are low on their priority list for revoicing anyways, Jonah was the exception and for good reason too. Although it would be cool to see survivors talk to each other and have more character to them, like Overwatch does.
