Can we put Proximity Chat in Game?

I think it would be best if we add proximity Chat in game and be able to talk to all players including killers like in friday the 13th game before it got taken down. Sadly. But yea i think it would be best helpful and more fun if proximity chat was added to the game and i think the whole community would agree especially if everyone mostly play cross platform. The only part missing is proximity chat so PLEASEEEE add the proximity chat ASAP !!

    I feel like voice chat combined with dbd is a bad idea.. I understand that SoloQ can be difficult when you can't communicate properly, but considering how toxic some players are to each other in this game, the idea to be able to talk to random people is horrible. I have received some harassment and threats from random players sometimes, most recently yesterday when I decided to play a killer game after a long time and some survivor didn't like that they didn't win the game, I've also seen a lot of other horrible messages that some other players have received in this game over the years I've been playing, so I don't even want to know how much worse it would be to have someone yell them in your ear when you're just trying to have fun and play. I see your vision and the idea behind it is good, but I don't think the end result would be good xd

    Much as I like the energy here, with a great deal of the language and communication I've seen in the post-game lobbies, I think I'd happily vouch out of proximity chat. I don't see this going anywhere healthy. If the player base were more mature it would be fun and quirky, but as it is I can only hear some many variations of 'get dunked on nerd' or 'you gotta try this hard huh?' before I would turn it off anyway.

    It would be impossible for BHVR to meaningfully moderate and punish, and the playerbase is just generally about as calm and collected as a toddler on bath salts.

    unfortunately voice chat to any degree will never work because people dont know how to use a mute button which means the people that want voice chat cant have it.
