Fix bots or remove them altogether

I am astonished to see how poorly a videogame could possibly implement AI NPCs in 2026, this product deserves a medal, as it is a clear demonstration that no matter the effort you put into something, certain times it just doesn't work. You know what they say: "not all donuts come out with a hole", well, the bots in Dead by Daylight perfectly incarnate that concept.

While that may have been the case when they were first released, now there are no more excuses. How is it possible that after such a prolonged time since bots were released, they are still a game breaking nuisance more than an actual support? How many times will I need to die because of a bot sandbagging me, missing every single skill check while healing me, wasting all pallets rendering the map a desolated wasteland or worse?

Perhaps it is because bots are calibrated on the skillset of the average survivor, and after 4000 hours playing this game (2500 of which spent assisting at the stupidity of people) I can't stand being actively sabotaged anymore, especially by bots as intelligent as who programmed their routines.

I shall give you a friendly suggestion, which is the same I always give to people doing stuff that are half good and half idiotic: do it properly or get rid of it.

There are still plenty of cheaters pestering the game by the way, if you ever want to deal with them, in your own time of course.
