Hi devs, I got an important request, there should be better Indian representation.
Haddie being the first Indian woman wasn’t a good look considering her base outfit and cosmetics. Lot of people in the community dislike her mean face and cosmetics. Her monster slayer cosmetic (assuming it’s an Indian culture dress) is very inaccurate and Haddie’s appearance in general is stereotypical and raise up stereotypes and Indians are already suffering with. Haddie is poorly designed and represented.
Especially since all the other Asian woman characters (Feng, Yui, Yun-Jin, Vee) look very well designed, Haddie being not makes it look bad.
I hope there would be a chapter focused around Indian culture and urban legends and have another Indian woman. I love the game and I want it to improve always. Huge fan and I hope yall see this.

According to the wiki, Haddie is Canadian of Indian decent. I don't think she is supposed to be "THE INDIAN".
But I don't think making a Survivor who isn't conventionally attractive is gonna make a bad look or incriminate people from those places. I can understand the desire to have a Survivor of your decent be super attractive so people flock to them, I guess that would be nice, but I think every Survivor looking like a barbie or a hunk even if from their respective culture is just kinda weird. unnatural.A Chapter set in proper India would be sick I agree, I want to see Killers and Survivors from outside the west.

The devs are kind of in a hard place here. If they make a female character too attractive, then people will inevitably accuse them of making gooner bait, and then there will be arguments about why some characters of certain races are more or less attractive than characters of other races, and then finally arguments over why some characters are more attractive than trans characters. Making a character have mid looks is the safe option.

Those people that get mad over a attractive woman have no respect in women and see women badly

Being attracted is not insulting at all. It won’t bring the negative stereotypes compared to Haddie. It’s the truth that something representing something shouldn’t be ugly or poorly made.

Yes, but remember we live in a clown world and the obvious doesn't always apply.
