DBD for the nintendo switch!!!!

For those who are unaware this trailer just dropped - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47Dlkx18CPc
I for one am super excited to be able to play this on my switch!!! Like more then a little kid on christmas if im being honest <3 however i have a few questions.
i don't expect the devs to all of these questions or any at all, however i would like to put them out there anyways

1 - will the game release with previous dlc - ie doctor, clown etc and will licensed dlc also be included? im not asking if they will be free, but simply if it will be the full experience :)
2 - will we have any form of local "switch" multiplayer where we can connect to other switches on a local connection, or will it be the usual kyf and normal game modes :)
3 - will there be any way to transfer progression? i do doubt that there will be, though in that case i suppose legacy outfits will be unavailable? thats fine, i honestly don't mind slugging through the grind again on my switch, specially since i'll gain the ability to play the game when im at uni/work etc
4 - is the console optimization update accounting for the switch as well? some people are worried about the framerates from the trailer :) though after seeing doom and skyrim run consistently well on the switch im confident in the devs.
5 - (and this one i doubt, but had to include because well i bet it will be a hot topic on peoples minds.) will there be any form of cross platform play, especially after dedicated servers are released? just wondering, for the sake of lobby times, and after the fact that minecraft and fortnite have crossplay, i was wondering if dbd might be able to get in on that action :)

    Everything!
Switch is a family friendly console.
Dead by daylight is for adults.
The trailer even avoided any kind of violence.

The Switch already has a few of violent games/M games tho, Doom, Bayonetta, The Binding of Isaac, Outlast 2 ect.

its as phantommask said. the switch maybe oriented towards family play, but nintendo has certainly stopped shying away from mature games. hell you can even stream re7 to it in japan. outlast and outlast 2 are avalible for full download etc

They try to open up the platform for adults too.

The thing is... you are right. The trailer tried to avoid violence too and it doesn't make much sense.

@Tsulan is right, there is no violence! What's going to happen when little Timmy shows his parents the trailer for the game and asks them to buy it for him, they won't see any of the violence so they'll say, sure little Timmy, you can have this game that seems violent but it really isn't because the trailer did not have violence! Then we, the community have to deal with kids that get triggered over losing. Wait-!!!

    My point exactly.
We already have this. But then it will be 10 times worse.
On top of that we'll get angry parents. Because little timmy is crying and we really shouldn't attack kids.

They'll say, "poor little Timmy doesn't deserve to be trashtalked like that!" while literally everyone playing this game assumes we're all in our teen- adult years, which is how it should be.

Yeah but Xbox live is coming to Nitendo switch, so it could be possible that you will be able to communicate. The gaming industry trying to go into the direction of cross-platforms, well beside Sony. However I did read somewhere that they are taking this into consideration.

This would be awesome if I can take DBD in public and screaming

Switch doesn't let u just send people messages. The devs would have to add the end game chat screen to switch. If they did it would Crack me up

Wait a tick...... that sounds like a contradiction tho. Is it because the Switch has terrible online quality? Like xbox will be hosting and taking care of the network stuff?

I can already see how poor little timmy's mom will start a support group for other parents affected by this brutal game. Trying to shut it down or make it family friendly.

That's why games come with age ratings, so you can blame parents that glaze over and let their offspring buy whatever.

i mean they could always add a system like splatoons/smashes to the end game - ie a set amount of phrases such as gg and wp etc

Just wait for a few of the sociopaths we already have here to migrate there.

Curious to see how Nintendo will handle death threats and harassments.

Warning BHVR, if for a reason or another Nintendo take you for responsible, it could certainly burn your wings.

    My first thought was

    3-7 fps tho

They did say optimization is coming, however.
