Simple “Rookie Spirit” buff ideas

Rookie Spirit is one, if not, one of the most forgotten perks in the game. New and old Gen aura reading perks outclass it every way, so I have a couple of ideas to make it worth using over others.

My suggestion is to give “Rookie Spirit” the ability to see the intensity of regressing generators akin to Legion’s “Fuming Mixtape” addon or Vecna’s “Hex:Hivemind” perk. Immediately you can get more value by seeing how much progress is on that regressing generator. The second buff would be “See Auras of any blocked generators.” Simple but can effectively let you guess which Gens are targeted by the killer’s perks while also letting you save time by picking a different generator to work on.

These are just a few changes that I feel would really elevate a basically completely forgotten perk, especially since I feel like Leon only has one good perk. Thank you for reading this post.

    They should make it so whenever you hit a good, or great repair skill check, one generator with the most progress pauses it's regression for 5, or 10 seconds.

    That way, not only can you see how progressed a regressing generator is, you can aid in it's repairs even if the killer is keeping an eye on it.

    Yes i would for a survivor perk to do this! I was thinking Visionary could have the effect as well, since in practise it's generally not the preferred option to find generators.
