Toolbox Rework
Why should we rework toolboxes? For 1 simple reason; What is the most fun meta for survivors? A killer that runs Gen Slow Down. Really. Because that means less perks that can make chases feel less thoughtful. What is the most fun meta for killer? Definitely not Gen Rush builds. Simply because nobody enjoys matches being shorter. Less interactions with the killer in any way will simply make the game less fun.
That is why, in this post, we'll be looking at how we can rework the toolbox and make it a healthy mechanic in the game:
TOOLBOX:
Toolboxes start with 0 charges. A survivor can enter an animation to start charging up the toolbox at any location. Only after the toolbox has been charged, can it be used on generators or on hooks.
Instead of it being something that just plain and simple makes matches take shorter, now instead it's a way that allows survivors to put more pressure on the main objective from more remote locations, no longer speeding up the game overall, but helping them counter 3 gen situations and similar situations instead.
