Blood Moon 2026 Event Feedback

A little late but once again another disappointing Blood Moon event, I would rather 2024's come back.
First Killer has NOTHING related to the event for actions, kicking over a Blood Cannister is not only a very rare occurrence especially since hitting or even hooking a survivor doesn't drop them but it's also meaningless as Survivors can refill a new Blood Cannister with the Blood Pumps replenishing blood at the same rate Survivors fuel up from them.
Second even though Killer Powers and Perks can affect Blood Gens, any regression Perks are laughably weak on the Blood Gens seeing as though Survivors apply 3.5 charges per second from a 40 charge Blood Cannister onto a 90 charge Blood Gen. The link is to a clip of 2 Survivors fueling a Blood Gen when a Pain Resonance regresses the Blood Gen, but literally 3 seconds later the Pain Resonance regression is not only fully nullified, but the Blood Gen gets completed.
Third the Blood Pumps, in 2025's Blood Moon, some of these Blood Pumps would spawn 2 feet away from the Blood Gen.
2026's issue is the Blood Pumps are clustered together.
Fourth is the Bloodshot Eye Offering which only increases Score Events for Blood Moon specific things. I know BHVR wants to keep the Anniversary Cakes as group Offerings and don't want other Offerings to outshine them, but even a small stackable +30-40% bonus BP to all players would at least make them more appealing ESPECIALLY since we can only use them for 3 weeks of the year which also stems into why I don't want to spend a lot of BP during the Blood Moon. I don't want to stare at collective 1000's of Bloodshot Eyes in my Offerings inventory. Unless BHVR is going to treat them like the Trinkets which at the end of the specific event, they get refunded for a small amount of BP
At this point I would rather play 2024's Blood Moon

That is because Blood Gens do not contribute to any of the 4 existing categories, but are in a seperate 5th category where event scoring always goes. So you are correct that you are missing Objectives points. When a match ends, do not skip anything and actually watch as the various scoring categories are being displayed. One of those should be related to Blood Moon and display all points you got during the match, that are in this category.

Yeah at this point, i am fed up with Blood Pump spawns. It makes the event too unreliable for survivor.
It's fun and the vfx and sfx are enjoyable but it's overall just way too stacked against survivor. Killers really don't have any noticable added challenge. Survivors don't sit on blood gens but you're more likely to find them out in the open. Passive regression is stronger. Same as last year stealth is also more effective.
The game just isn't balanced around this. It needs to be more well thought out or more of an isolated experience (like limited maps, killers, perks)1 -
It's ironic because the blood gens are meant to be more fun by comparison, but I find myself preferring the regular gens in the mode because there's less BS to deal with. Not that they're getting done anyway. I've only had one trial so far where the gates were actually powered.

So why are you guys not able to fix the spawns of the stations? As surviors this is really frustrating seeing them beeing clutched together on one side of the map. Survivors are basically scammed the whole event being seriously hindered in doing their objective. Also survivor cant get much points in objective if they are doing the event gens, which is another massive loss on bloodpoints. Where is the compensation for all this mess you throw out without testing it properly again?

It's a sad day for both survivor and killer when 2 or even sometimes 3 blood pumps can be used as a loop.

I haven't had a problem of filling gens even if three blood pumps are in the same place. I just see too much people walking even to the closest gen there is no point to walk as it will take you three trips anyway even if you run. Further ones you might need to think if you need some walking at least on the last run.
