if mending isnt healing, why is deep wound considered a health state?

    Adrenaline heals you from deep wound but nurse's doesn't show mending survivors...ok.

    Because you have a different health state when under the effect of Feral Frenzy and when you are not.
    Mending basically is healing, but it is not recognised as such by the Nurse's Calling. Just don't mix realism and gameplay elements.

    Because devs thought that Nurse's Calling would be broken if mending was considered as healing...
    Even tho survivors have been dealing with Snap Out and Wake Up being both considered as healing and never having a problem with them...
