Do you report people for actively throwing

Had a couple of solo queue games in the last couple of days where people are actively throwing cause they dont like the map or killer or their life in general. I mean the bad bad kind of throwing; not playing poorly. For example unhooking each other in tandem while the killer stands next to them until they are dead, jumping in and out of lockers until the killer comes and hooks them etc.

Do you make an effort to report these people or is it that you think it will change nothing anyways? Just curious.

Sometimes, but it feels pointless. At least when I'm killer and people do this, I can give whoever was the best or most active player hatch.

Only when it becomes griefing: body blocking another survivors cage during 2v8 so they can't be rescued, body blocking another survivor in a corner so they can't play, etc. People trying to get themselves killed quickly though? No, I don't care if someone does that and definitely not somethint I'd waste time reporting.

If they are actively throwing the game for the other players, I will report them.

It's pretty much pointless unless you are submitting a support ticket with video evidence for every single report. Which even then I can't say if that will successfully get people banned for intentionally throwing.

I made a similar post not to long ago and I've played hardly any matches over the past few months due to how common this type of behavior has become to the point that none of my friends are willing to play anymore. It's incredibly rare that action is taken in cases like these. I've only received enforcement confirmation 2 or 3 times in the 7 years I've been playing.

Like @HPhoenix said, they don't do anything unless it's a hacker and they find evidence that proves it without a doubt. Lastly, @Crowman tentatively stated they may not even respond to submitted tickets, which I can guarantee they don't. I've submit at least 3 tickets with clear video evidence and never received confirmation of action. I only received responses that can be summarized to "We'll look in to it eventually".

Depends on the situation. It someone's desd at 5 gens i have no objection to someone giving up, alerting the killer and getting themselves on hook to go next. But when someone starts to actively throw or sandbag at the start or while the match is winnable then I'll report, not that it does anything.

DBD forums where you can say something so objectively correct and good for the game that you get downvoted.

Yeah it's like there's one lurker on the forum who downvotes every reasonable well thought post 🤣

Honestly reports are like a stress relief ball. They might feel good in the moment, but they serve no real purpose. If someone breaks a rule often enough that a few streamers catch it, then you'll get a little notice in a few months about it, long after you've forgotten what it even was that you reported in the first place.

Not everyone is going to agree with me and that's fine. Haha

I feel like I only get feedback on hackers, and reporting in most other instances doesn't do anything sadly.
