to be honest, I forgot so thank you.
I bought the new Attack Titan skin and I've mostly been getting wrecked(I probably shoulda waited for a mori..) so I may need to laugh it off by sampling the Springtrap and Unknown buffs! I forgot I don't "have" to wait until 2v8 is over!

it's a welcome feature but it would be nice if we could choose what Survivor queue we want to join for play while we wait.
I'd personally like to be able to queue for 2V8 Survivor while waiting in the 1V4 Killer queue. And I'm sure there will be others out there that would like to be able to do the opposite.

As much as the feature sounds good for the killers..
- What does it do to the survivors who decide TO REMAIN in the match in question?
The way I see it, an AI will be placed to replace the player, and frankly.. If I wanted to play with AI, I'd play as a killer in custom lobbies.
This does completely shifts my mind and makes me wanna avoid the game for as long as this feature remains in the game, because that's gonna cause messy and unfun matches for the other survivor players.-8 -
Ive been playing more killer matches because of how good it transitions between killer and survivors ques. super easy to play two or three survivor matches then have a fun killer match

Does this work if you queue for survivor but it could be a while so it throws you in a killer queue?

Would be a bit more useful if there were more dead times during the day, but seeing as depending on your region it's about the same time every day where queues get longer for a period of time this feature while nice is only effective part of the time.

That's not how Play While You Wait works. You are never removed from the survivor game early; you play the entire game out and your queue for killer is saved and waiting for you until after you escape or die. No bots, just place saving.

Yeah i was going to say, pretty sure that feature doesn't pull you out midgame to put you in the killer game.
Maybe check how the feature works first before you complain about it?

The whole point of Play While You Wait is that there are too many killers and not enough survivors, hence long killer queues. PWYW eases the congestion by turning waiting killing players into active survivors. If you could try to play 1v4 killer while you waited for 2v8 killer, that would only make the killer queues in both modes longer.

I don't recall seeing any informations about how does it work in-game, so I didn't know.
That I don't get whatsoever.. I've always thought that survivors were the majority of the playerbase..?
And it's not like I'm willing to buy that killer is easier to play nowadays or what do the people claim these days around.. I wasn't around myself, so I do see things just like before and expect players to be better (regardless of the role, thus more of them leaning towards SWF, which logically means more survivor players overall) the older the game gets.

Survivors have much less of an incentive to play 2v8. They get limited builds and a sped up game.
Killers get to play with someone, a concept exclusive to this mode.
So naturally, the more interesting side gets more players than it usually gets, and the result = long queues.
