When 2v8 Trapper buff?

Like, its pretty clear he's incredibly weak in 2v8. All it takes is 1 or 2 dedicated survivors to follow Trapper to disable him and survivors can get trapped cross map and escape in 1 attempt.

Even if his stats might be "balanced", his games are by far extreme ends and heavily map dependend.

I think giving honing stone and bloody coil basekit for 2v8 would genuinely make him feel a lot nicer to play as, since having to walk 500 km just to collect all your traps only for none of them to have any effect but time consumption kinda sucks.

Yeah, he desperately needs buffs, he's way too slow for 2v8. The fact that one single survivor is enough to disable his power is too much honestly.
Could be somewhat fine in 1v4, but definitely not in 2v8.

I'm kind of against to giving him bloody coil tho, because it would empower already strong killers (see nurse or oni). I think iridescent stone + honing stone could be enough…

at least let all the traps start armed....something!

    he doesn't need much, just...something.

I mean, if you only implement honing stone, you still have the problem of 1 single survivor being able to disable his power. Bloody Coil fixes that, as they are forced to injure themselves. It wont make Oni or Nurse too strong, unless survivors are actively disarming traps (which means Trapper has to go round and reset again, effectively making it a 1v8 for as long as he is focussed on traps)

On RPD it becomes a problem, but TBH, that could be fixable by allowing survivors to "destroy" traps like the OG dbd days and have those traps respawn elsewhere after being "destroyed". Which is a mechanic I would love in 1v4 too so they can buff traps in general (like, being able to spawn with all traps from the start, it would make basement super strong, but having the traps spawn elsewhere after destruction makes it a temporary resource instead)

He needs a buff in general.
