Interesting Detail in the "Collectors Curse" Skin for the Nurse
I was looking at the cool skins from the rift and when I looked at the deep rift I thought that the colors for the deep rift versions nurse skin were kind of random.
But then I realized that the second deep rift skin(the one with the red skull) literally copies the colors of the "Blood Collector" enemy which is part of a mod based on the crimson court DLC (you can look it up and see for yourself, the modded blood collector enemy also has a similar fighting style as the collector, it also summons fake heroes to fight for it)
Though I wonder what is the green version of the nurse skin based on? And are there other references in the deep rift skins? If anyone has an idea then please comment.

Wasn't the blood collector a mod? Don't think he was in the standard dlc. I only ever played the base game/DLCs and never heard of them.

Np 😊 it made me scratch my head for a mo because I've played a LOT of darkest dungeon, and I was worried I'd missed a boss.

It actually wouldn't surprise me at all if that's where the idea came from, Red Hook (Darkest Dungeon creator) is very aware of their modding community and frequently does community mod spotlights!
Also, the other deep rift recolours for the heroes are all taken from the game, I believe darkest dungeon 1 mainly?
Love that we got a shambler portrait, easily the most terrifying random encounter in the game if you play torchless.

Shambler is iconic, my only regret is that we didn't get a shambler dredge skin. (Or Reynauld, or The Fanatic also would be good easy skin choices.

I'm convinced they didn't give us some of the other iconic DD stuff because it's being saved for a potential chapter/future content
I've always wanted to see 'The Ancestor' as a Killer with part of his power being a stress mechanic for the survivors. That'd be awesome. Only downside is, they'd have to do without Wayne June but I'm sure BHVR or even Red Hook could find someone to do a good impression.
