Upcoming perks
Saw those and I'm confused whether new perks should even be done if we make all perks so bad they have no chance to stand meta and will be rotting in forgotness. I will pin them below.
Kille perks:
Vigilance - basically Deerstalker that works only on obsession. What is even purpose of that perk other than tunneling out obsession? Pairing this with perks like FTTE or so will not be any viable pick as you can run way better chase or aura perks.
Under your thumb - Hex that makes haste limited to 25 % untill totem is cleansed. Is it even worth a comment? Just pop on languid touch, mindbreaker or whatever else and you will do 100 % better.
Lay Waste - basically Call Of Brine with no secondary effect with big cooldown. Just overcrept by so many better options that I can't see anyone using this perk.
Survivor perks:
Fruits of your labor - get up to 25 % haste for 2s after last gen is done, get up to 100 % healing speed once gen is done. Do we know perks like botany, we'll make it, desperate measures and other 50 better healing perks? The haste is not even worth to talk about.
Salvation's Cry - for 10s after chase starts both chased survivor and killer's aura are revealed. Why would that information even be a good to have? You will mostly not even know where the chase begins so already missing part of it. If you want to track the chases you can run better perks like fogwise, alert not even saying that with stealth builds, stealth killers this will be just waste of a perk slot.
Steadfast - bless a boon to make one closest gen repairing 50 % slower for price of getting off 1 % perma progress every time you hit great skill check. This one is defienetly the worst of them all. Firstly completely relying on totems RNG where you can be able to use this perk maybe once. 50 % debuff to repair is not worth the 1 % perma cut as you trade the 1 % off great progress to 1 % of perma decreased maximum progress. So the "blessed" gen will take 180s to complete and you will completely rely on getting skillchecks which is very bad, a lot of time you get no skillckecks for 80 % of the gen, so this will also require you to run minimum 1-2-3-4.
With that I'm wondering whether it's even worth to create new perks rather than focusing on making those existing somwhat more engaging.
