Furry/fully non-human survivors.

I know a lot of people will hate on the idea but having survivors that aren’t even human would be a breath of fresh air.

It’s already proven that we can have anthropomorphic animal characters because of killer skins such as cat trickster, werewolf unknown, Krampus trapper and Oni’s bull/minotaur. Survivors could also have tails and ears as given by one of the past rifts.

Some survivors like Aestri and Alucard can be considered non-human but adding a completely different species could really expand future possibilities. The survivor could be a creature from DND or even an original chapter to show how far the entity will go between universes.

Plus this will interest more communities and spark more ideas down the line.

I really want non human survivors.

I was hoping they would do that with DnD, with the variety of races that DnD has, but we got but we got the most basic DnD races. was really hoping for a dragonborn or Tabaxi

Sly Cooper could work, if Sony ever remembers he exists.

I’m all for non human survivors. Would be really cool to see. And I will agree that I wish the DnD agreement allow them to go more with fantasy aspect. Like a demon, mermaid, dragon, type characters.

I doubt WOTC is stopping bhvr from doing more races as playable characters, i think bhvr is simply just choosing not to do them, at least atm.

That is true. But maybe BHVR will change their minds and expand more in the future.

Baldurs gate 3 characters couldve been a good start for dnd. Most of them aren't human. But i have no idea the complications between baldurs gate 3 and dnd when it comes to licensing, as they are from the same universe and i think ive seen dnd license holders use baldurs gate 3 characters as collabs before in other games. Im sure Shadowheart, karlach and Astarian would all be popular picks.

Aside from that not many licenses come to my mind besides something like Bloody Roar, street sharks, ninja turtles etc which aren't horror based. So itd probably have to be an original chapter.
