Why are the punishments for disconnecting so lenient?
The punishments for disconnecting mid game should be a hell of a lot more severe and frequent than they are.
I read somewhere on here that bans don't start getting handed out until you DC 35%-40% of your games. Although I don't know how credible that was.
First time you DC you get a pass, maybe your internet played up.
Second time it should be a 15 minute wait before you can get back into a lobby.
Third time and it's an hour wait to get into a lobby.
Fourth time a 3 hour wait.
Fifth time 24 hour ban.
Any following disconnections then result in another 24 hour ban.
Then reset it every week.
Players that consistently DC over a long period of time (a season) should then be put into a low-priority matchmaking group, along with the other asshats that disconnect constantly.
Surely this would actually deal with the issue. If the figure of 35%-40% is true, then what's the point in having it at all? Even the worse culprits are unlikely to disconnect as much as 350 times out of 1,000.
Also, lovely developers. Can we have Shirtless Myers in the store please? I'd pay 10,000 auric cells in a heartbeat to see that beautiful beast walking around with his pecks, abs and guns out.

I'd agree with your suggestion if the reset were daily rather than weekly, given those numbers.1 -

Agree, DCs have to be punished but the ranking has to be fixed first and other unfun thigns in this game because people DC because of broken stuff, facecamp, ebony moris, 3 blink nurses etc

What's broken about a killer doing nothing for 2 full minutes? It's not fun, I'll grant you that, but losing isn't supposed to be fun.

I thought PS4 disconnects were bad until I started playing on PC last night. I've played about 10 matches and there has been a disconnect in every single one of them. Granted I'm new on PC and only a rank 17 ...is this an issue at lower ranks?

That sucks, but TBH I'm loving 60fps and the much improved graphics over consoles right now to let it bother me too much.
