[Chapter Concept] The Backrooms - New Killer: The Mimic (The Bacteria)

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a concept for a highly requested crossover: The Backrooms. Since The Entity bases its realms on reality and feeds on human emotions, what better emotion to exploit than pure paranoia and the fear of the unknown?
New Killer: The Mimic (Based on "The Bacteria")
The Mimic is a shapeshifting Killer that feeds on the distrust of its victims. It uses the Survivors' own appearances against them, turning cooperative play into a deadly gamble.
Power: Deceptive Form
- Shapeshift: The Mimic can press the Active Ability button to take the exact form of one of the Survivors currently in the Trial (including their cosmetics and health state).
- Infiltration: While in Survivor form, The Mimic has no Terror Radius or Red Stain. It can perform fake Survivor actions, such as pretending to repair a generator (while actually applying slow regression) or pretending to heal another Survivor.
- The Reveal: To attack, The Mimic must shed its disguise. This triggers a visceral animation where the "Survivor" twists and morphs back into the terrifying Bacteria monster. This transition takes 1.5 seconds, giving Survivors a brief window to react.
New Map Mechanic: "Noclipping" (The Backrooms Integration)
To truly bring the Backrooms to life, this chapter introduces a new map feature: Liminal Rifts.
- Certain walls or lockers on the map will randomly glitch out.
- If a Survivor runs into a glitching wall, they "noclip" and are temporarily teleported to Level 0 (a small, maze-like sub-dimension made of yellow wallpaper and damp carpets).
- In this sub-dimension, time passes slower, and you must find an exit rift to return to the main map. However, The Mimic can also enter this dimension to hunt you down where there are no pallets or windows.
Killer Perks:
- Hex: Paranoia: The Entity feeds on your distrust. When two or more Survivors are within 8 meters of each other, their repair and healing speeds are reduced by 10/12/15%.
- Uncanny Valley: Your mere presence feels wrong. If a Survivor looks directly at you from a distance of over 20 meters while you are not in a chase, their Aura is revealed to you for 3/4/5 seconds.
- Nowhere to Hide: Breaking a dropped pallet or breakable wall grants you the Undetectable status effect for 12/16/20 seconds.
