Disconnects Players and why I think they need to be punished?
But, Not only did one ran down to the basement, just to be standing out the hoping to die faster! But, at the very last match, when 2 out of the five gens maded; I down one of the Survivors and went just about the leave him there and look for the last one as well as the Hatch!
But, get this.... The Downed Survivor Disconnects, and the last person immediately escapes, scotch free; as if the two were working together, to leave only one survivor left!
Look, I get that Survive with Friends is good for communication, a luxury we don't have in normal matches.... But, for heaven sakes, Punish Disconnected Players for abusing it, for a game advantage; Make them get suspended for longer wait times or something.... I seen it too many times, that survivors using the D/C or options to leave match! And it ruins Games alot; not only for the survivor's perspective, it makes it way too easy for the killer to find all three or two or even worse, only one player!
As for Killer like me, It just came to my intention, that Survivors can take advantage of the D/C mechanics, and just aid their fellow friend with a free chance to escape!
I am not salty, that I lose to one survivor, for getting way out, using communication and "expolit" like that!
Suggestion Buffs/Changes: Either....
A: Punish Players whom abused the "Leave Match" button; by more then just Blood points, how about more suspension time, also!
B: Make it possible to buff the killer, to see where the hatch is! (I know, The Killer can only see the Gens, as well as only the Exit Gates; but, it would be awesome if they came up with some perk and rework on the whole Hatch mechanics)
C: Survivors that do disconnect, the match should at least buff the non-SWF players, with at least one less generator to work with! (I know, I hate Survive With Friends Groups, more then the Randos; but I am more sympathetic towards them, considering they unable to communicate, which is the Public game's defualt disadvantage for Survivors, so I say reward them something, that makes them stand out)
These are just my thoughts/concerns; please suggest any ideas/suggestions, as to how we should dealing players that abusing the Disconnect Button?
Note: This does not count towards Players with bad internet, although I should suggest that you improve the Wifi on your part, if you want to avoid "cheating" the D/C new system concept I have in mind!

The fact that we even have to do threads about why DCing needs to be punished.....

Could do it like LoL. Leaving a game makes you wait 5 minutes before queueing up again, and that amount only grows as you leave more games

What DCs do...
To survivors - Give them a huge disadvantage and lessen the chance of winning (e.g. I was in a game where someone disconnected upon, what I assume was, missing decisive strike... We had 1 gen done... This basically screwed us for the whole game...To killers - Give them less chance to get more points... Also may waste time...

Do you think that survivors wake up in the morning and say "wow, thats a beautiful day, lets DC 10 matches"? Every DC have a reason. But people are blind. Today, I've disconnect 3 times and I have no problem to tell my reasons.
First, killer has been stuned, +1000BP and THEN hit me (lobby ping 60ms) over the pallet within stuned phase. OK, same chase 1 minute later, I've vaulted over window, two steps and killer behind the window hit to "air" and I was down. WOW. Yes, easy BP for killers for their ######### internet connection but sorry, I don´t want to be a part of this (...).
Second, killer dribbled with obsession to avoid DS. (btw, just tell me, how it can be legit strategy? It is clear abusing of game perk mechanisms). But its not enough. When killer hook surv into basement, camp him, and when I've use borrowed time to risky save my mate, killer moonwalk up the stairs and bodyblock for half minute. Sorry, I don´t want to be a part of this (...).
Third, two(maybe three) gens done, 2 survs left. Killer take down my mate and walking around. OK, I've safe my mate, then killer tunnel me for few minutes. When I was down, killer let me in dying state (again) to avoid hatch opening/spawn and search for my mate. Sorry guys, but I think that 3 sacrifices should be great score and I DO NOT understand why killers wasted my time by shitting like this. DC hooked me instead of killer and provide fair chance to my mate to find the hatch.
B: Make it possible to buff the killer, to see where the hatch is! (I know, The Killer can only see the Gens, as well as only the Exit Gates; but, it would be awesome if they came up with some perk and rework on the whole Hatch mechanics)
Please edit your post and replace "came up" -> "camp" :chuffed:
95% of my hatch escapes ending with hatch blocking by killer when we both wait who retreat first. And trust me, it can take 10 minutes before killer hit you and you can escape. Hatch is the last chance when you are so good to survive longer then your 3 mates to make ending more balanced. More balanced should be if the killer cannot see and hear hatch. Lets find the survivor, not hatch ! cmon !0 -

Ps killer dont have crappy internet he s just having ping advantage which is going to be adressed with dedicated servers.1 -
The problem is obviously that people can dc a lot before they get banned. That needs to change.
What would remain are the survivors who kill themselves on the first hook at the beginning of the game.
