Lake Placid/ A Literal Crocodile

Here's a concept for a killer who is literally just a crocodile. This could be licensed as part of the Lake Placid movie or just an original killer based off of a crocodile.

Power is broken up into a few parts. Firstly, there will now be several pools of water that spawn around the map near key areas like gens. They are about waist deep for a survivor to walk into and murky. The croc can enter a pool and teleport between pools. They can see survivors near a pool before choosing to exit, like when Dredge moves from locker to locker and can choose to get out or not. This provides mobility and sets up for the next part of the power, the ambush.

The croc can choose to launch an ambush attack from these pools where he will dash out at incredible speed and grab a survivor in his mouth. The grab has elements that are similar to Deathslinger and Bubba, let me explain. Once grabbed the survivor will only be able to be held in the mouth for a certain amount of time before they will inevitably escape and when they do the croc will have a short stun to allow them to gain distance (like a deathslinger shot). During this time the croc can choose to do two things. Either you can release the survivor intentionally, meaning they will be injured and start running while you endure a small stun and then start a standard chase. Or you can deathroll them. Deathrolls have charges, like a Bubba chainsaw sweep, and depending on how many you use, you can inflict more stratus effects onto the survivor. If you roll for a few seconds and consume a charge, they will have Hemorrhage for 70 seconds when they escape. If you use another charge and extend the roll time some more, they recieve Mangled for 70 seconds. And finally if you use all three charges for a maximum length roll they are put into deep wound. This allows you to spend some time in exchange for slowing down that survivor's healing, or drop them quickly if you'd rather just chase them, depending on if there is a group of survivors and you'd rather pressure multiple or focus on one.

There is more to this killer's power concerning chase which is very important. Just like Chucky this killer is very low to the ground, giving them an innate advantage when looping around tiles. For chucky this was solved by giving him footprints you can see through the wall if he's close. For the croc we can fix this height advantage with sound instead of visuals. The croc has a very short lullaby that extends 5m. By having this short lullaby, on relatively large tiles such as shack, T L, and jungle gyms, you can tell if the killer is on the same side getting close to you or if they are on the opposite side. To be fair to the killers and survivors, with Chucky's power, they can see his exact location but then Chucky can "muddy the waters" so to speak by activating hidey-ho and creating many fake trails. With the croc, rather than having one mode where you can see his exact location and one where you really can't tell at all where he is, his lullaby is vague but consistent. It wont tell you exactly what side he's coming from, but will always be a reliable judge of distance and danger.

There's some fun cosmetic ideas you can do with this killer, too. Gold tooth, chains like they've escaped from capture, a top hat and monocle, etc

Tell me what you guys think? You like the idea of a crocodile killer?
