Hello, this is my chapter and updated version of my Killer concept for a Killer robot. Added potential survivors, map concept, new appearance for the killer and slightly updated perks. Consider the perks, especially the survivor ones placeholders. I have not played the game much recently and don't know if there were any overhauls or new perks. Obviously all numbers would need testing to be balanced, which is also why i at some points didn't add specific numbers. Prototype Concept Renders + Menu Music Demo and potentially Demo Chase music are in work by me.

Killer Concept: The Protocol

Theme: Futuristic Surveillance / Escalation / Psychological Pressure

Appearance:
A humanoid killer robot with two cameras and a central antenna in place of a head. The Protocol sometimes speaks to the survivors, suggesting certain approaches. "Go left", "Throw the pallet".

Movement Speed: 4.0 m/s
Terror Radius: Standard (32m)
Height: Average

Power – Scanning Mode

The killer can hold the power button to enter a scanning stance.

While scanning:

Movement speed starts slow (similar to Myers' stalking).
A rectangular scan field appears in front of the killer.
If a survivor enters the field, the rectangle gradually shrinks and the killer gains speed.
The killer cannot perform a basic attack while scanning.
The killer can vault pallets during this mode.
Losing the target(s) slowly regresses the scanning progress.

Maximum Scan Speed

Once maximum speed is reached:

The killer can grab a survivor, visually scanning them.
This triggers a short minigame for the killer.
During the hold the killer is locked in place. A growing scanning circle reveals nearby survivors with Killer Instinct and applies Exposed for 15 seconds, after leaving the circle.

If the killer wins the minigame:

The survivor gains Scan Status – Tier I and is released. The killer is shortly locked in place "processing the information".

If the killer loses the minigame:

The killer gets stunned briefly (malfunctioning) and the survivor escapes the hold.

I'm personally not sure if the minigame should be loseable. I don't know what kind of minigame would be fitting, while being technically feasible and if there even should be one.

Scan Status System

Killer gains a 5% speed boost within 32 meters of a survivor with at least Tier I
Hooking a survivor triggers a brief scan animation, granting a 10% speed boost for 10 seconds, reduced by 5% per Scan Tier the hooked survivor has.

Tier I

For each survivor in at least Tier I the killer gains +0.2 m/s base speed.
Scan-grabbing a Tier I survivor is blocked until you hook them, instead you can M1 them.

Grabbing and scanning a Tier I survivor again upgrades them to Tier II.

Tier II

Within 16 meters of a Tier II survivor, pallets cannot stun the killer. Instead, a brief animation plays where the killer physically halts the pallet without breaking it.
The killer vaults 7.5% faster for each living Tier II survivor.
When scanning a Tier II survivor to max speed, the killer can perform a normal basic attack instead of grabbing them.

Secondary Power – Phase Teleport Chain

While standing still, the killer can charge the secondary ability, giving an audible cue.
When charged:

The killer must perform three short teleports in quick succession(the teleport range is fixed).
Survivors see this as an extremely fast sprint with a “phased” visual effect.
Failing to complete all three teleports in time stuns the killer.
Completing all teleports allows an immediate basic attack.

Scaling

If all survivors are in at least Tier I, you can charge while slowly walking and are able to cancel it more quickly.
If then two living survivors are in Tier II, the ability charges almost instantly.

Counterplay:
When playing against Protocol it is important to keep calm, as with any other killer. Protocol can vault pallets in the scanning mode, but can still be stunned by them, losing sight and valuable time. He also can only vault windows like any other killer at the start. You should still beware of a vault speed build Protocol. If scanning should fixate the vault speed, would need to be tested. His phase power can ignore structures, but not simple geometry, as he needs to do 3 consecutive teleports at a fixed range. Move yourself in a way that throws him off, as the player has little time to adjust the remaining teleports.

Map Interaction – Server Terminals

A futuristic server rack spawns near each generator.
Survivors can interact with it via a minigame to downgrade Tier II into Tier I, but:

They are revealed by Killer Instinct.
They become Exposed for 30 seconds.

Unique Perks

Perk 1 – “Observation Unit”

When you chase a survivor for a consecutive 15 seconds, the next time you hit a survivor, that survivor gets marked "observed" and you gain one token. Once you have a token you cannot mark another survivor or gain any more tokens, until you use the token. You can then use that token at any moment to receive an audio/visual cue of the direction of the marked survivor, potentially Killer Instinct.

Perk 2 – “Mechanical Efficiency”
For each hook state across all survivors, you damage generators, open/close lockers and grab survivors out of lockers 10% faster. Each generator done adds another 10%.

Perk 3 – “Planned Observation”
Standing still for 5 seconds grants a 5% movement speed bonus for 20 seconds. (This is not achievable near a hooked survivor). After the bonus ran out, this skill has a cooldown of 40 seconds.

Killer Description:
The Protocol is a calculating Killer, observing its prey and adapting to their behavior with unsettling precision.
Little is known of the machine that entered the Fog. Its shape suggests purpose, but not one meant for the Trials. Two unblinking cameras move independently above its frame, surveying its surroundings with quiet, methodical attention.
It does not pursue with anger. It does not appear to take pleasure in suffering. Every chase is an observation. Every escape is another result. Every repeated mistake is something it will remember.
Survivors who remain predictable may soon find that the distance between hunter and prey is no longer enough to protect them.
Yet there are moments when its behaviour changes.
A hesitation without apparent cause. A movement that serves no obvious purpose. A voice where none should be.
Whether these are faults in the machine, remnants of something older, or evidence that the Protocol is not the only thing watching remains unknown.

Prototype Map concept:
An isolated research site stands on the remains of a forested island, surrounded by a dark and seemingly endless sea.
Parts of the site appear to have once belonged to a remote government research facility. Weathered concrete buildings, an underground technical bunker, workshops, abandoned equipment and a small landing area remain scattered between the trees. Cyrillic markings can still be found throughout the older structures, though much of their original purpose has been lost.
Something else occupies the island.
Embedded into the landscape are structures of a completely different origin. Vast computational halls, cooling systems and dense networks of machinery cut through the older facility without regard for its architecture. Unlike the labeled sections of the site, these structures contain no signs, instructions or obvious accommodations for those expected to move through them.
The two locations were never meant to exist together.
A concrete corridor may continue directly into an immense server hall. A road disappears through machinery that could not have been there when it was built. Cables enter one structure and emerge somewhere they should not. In places, trees and rock have been caught between both.
Whether this is the result of an imperfect memory, several memories forced together, or something the Entity found more difficult to recreate is unclear.
Throughout the forest, cameras and unfamiliar scanning equipment remain pointed toward the island. Some are broken. Others still move.
The coastline forms much of the Trial's natural boundary, with cliffs, dense vegetation and the sea surrounding the playable area. Fallen trees, exposed roots, coastal rock formations, abandoned vehicles and remnants of the research site form natural loops between the larger structures.
Far beyond the shore, the fog makes it difficult to tell where the sea ends.

Potential Survivors

Dr. Ilya Voronin(A Scientist)

Description: Dr. Ilya Voronin is a methodical Survivor, relying on observation, accumulated knowledge and careful experimentation to understand situations others would rather escape from.
Voronin spent much of his career studying phenomena that refused to behave as they should. Measurements contradicted established models. Equipment returned impossible readings. Tests that should have produced identical results did not.
Where others saw faulty instruments, Voronin saw unanswered questions.
His work eventually brought him to an isolated research facility, far from anyone likely to interfere. What began as an investigation slowly became an obsession. Something had been observed, reproduced and measured — but never truly understood.
During one final experiment, the instruments registered a result unlike anything seen before.
Voronin approached to take another reading.
By the time his colleagues entered the room, he was gone.
In the Fog, Voronin has found no shortage of impossible observations.
This time, some of them appear to be observing him back.

Perks:

-Empirical Evidence
Whenever the killer breaks or damages something in a radius of 24m, you gain a token, with a maximum of 2 tokens. The next time the killer breaks the same type of structure, a token is used and you see the aura of the killer for 5 seconds and gain +100% speed on healing and +10% repair speed for 20 seconds.

-Field Repair
Whenever you repair a generator, this generator is marked for you (not with aura). If the killer damages this generator, you have the ability to restore 60% of the Generator Progress lost since the Killer last damaged that Generator, after a short burst of skill checks.

-Data interpretation
Whenever you see the aura of the killer. You gain 5% haste for the duration of the reveal.

Matthew Vance(Spec Ops)

Description: Matthew Vance is a disciplined Survivor, trained to remain effective when plans collapse and survival depends on making the next decision quickly.
Vance had learned not to expect explanations.
During an operation that left his unit isolated and without support, he encountered something that had no place on the battlefield. It watched from a distance at first.
It could have killed him.
Instead, it helped.
Vance never learned why.
Their cooperation was brief, uncomfortable and effective. Whatever the machine wanted, it seemed more interested in his decisions than his orders. When the operation ended, Vance was left with instructions to say nothing about what he had seen.
He intended to keep them.
Years later, surrounded by unfamiliar fog, Vance heard the sound of mechanical movement between the trees.
Then he saw the cameras.
They were familiar.
The machine was not.

Perks:

-Rally Point
After repairing a generator for 20 seconds you gain the ability to place a rally point. You can only have one rally point at a time. The rally point's aura is visible to all survivors. Inside a 12m Radius of the rally point you can see the aura of all survivors.

-Controlled Breathing
Whenever you enter a chase Controlled Breathing gets activated. While crouching you gain a 150% haste bonus, for 4 seconds. After this the perk goes on cooldown for 30 seconds.

-Threat Assessment
Each time you enter and leave a chase, witch lasted at least 10 seconds, without being downed, you gain a token up to a maximum of 6 tokens. Once you have 3 tokens, you get a warning if the Killer enters a 40m radius with a cooldown of 15 seconds. At 4 tokens, you additionally receive a second warning whenever the Killer enters a 32-metre radius. If you gathered 6 tokens you can use all of them to see the killer aura for 5 seconds.

Nameless(Doesn't have a name)

Description: Nameless is a quiet Survivor, accustomed to watching, waiting and acting only when action is necessary.
He does not have a name.
This is not something that was taken from him, nor something he has forgotten. When others ask what they should call him, he rarely seems interested in answering.
Little else is offered freely.
He speaks only when necessary. Sometimes, when alone, he can be heard murmuring unfamiliar words under his breath. Whether they are prayers, calculations, memories or something else entirely is difficult to tell.
Strange structures do not surprise him. Impossible events rarely frighten him for long. And when confronted with something beyond his understanding, his first instinct is not to run.
It is to observe.
The machine appears to recognize something in him as well.

Perks:

-Do not answer
Each time your aura is revealed to the killer, you get a warning. You gain a token each warning, up to a maximum of 3. Each time your aura is read, you get the ability to use a token for a 15 second 5% haste buff.

-Information seeker
Whenever you destroy a totem you see the killers aura for 15 seconds.

-Yerna
Each time you hit a great skill check you gain a token. Whenever the Killer's Aura is revealed to you, increase the duration of that Aura reveal by 1 second for each token, then consume all Tokens.
