Slight Tweak To Stake Out

Overall the new design for Stake Out is still pretty solid, even if I don't personally care as much for it, but I do think there's one thing holding it back. I don't think it should be both restricted to 24 metres and require you to be in the terror radius.

If either of those changed - making it terror radius and 32 metres, or just 24 metres with no terror radius requirement - I think the perk would be in a pretty much perfect spot for its current design. Having both restrictions at once just makes it a little too difficult to consistently get tokens.

No big wordwall this time, that's all I have to say lol

    I'd personally avoid buffing genrushing perks. They been nerfed for reason.

    1. Put it back the way it was
    2. Killswitch Hyperfocus until it's rework

    The way BHVR talked about it, they had reasons outside of Hyperfocus for reworking it, so while I personally don't vibe with the new one as much I can accept it being changed.

    I'd just like it to be not held back by its numbers, if this is the shape we're getting.

    Yeah this is one of the reasons why I really dislike what they did with steakout. It was a perk that helped encourage variety since it did effectively nothing against stealth killers while being the strongest against overpowered killers like ghoul. It should just be terror radius requirement instead of being totally killed.

    I hate people crying about Hyperfocus. It's skilled perk that reward doing well on hitting great by little more progress, less than bardic gives. Makes repairing somewhat interactive rather than staring at progress bar. Stake Out issue wasn't combination with Hyperfocus but how it removes requirement to hit greats to achieve effects from perks like Fogwise, Road Life, Specialist etc. Devs even stated that they are going to add more great skillcheck relying perks and don't want steak out to make these perks easier to work.
