New Chapter: The Butcher

For this concept I wanted to make something that didn't get too crazy and played more off of Dead By Daylight as it is now. I created a killer and a survivor who are linked through the fact that they both lived in the same town but never actually met or knew each other personally. The killer, The Butcher, has an ability set up unlike any of the other killers but with hints and traces of those we are all familiar with. The perks for both the survivor and killer are ones that I believe are fairly balanced and would prove useful in the trial.
I (like my survivor) am a small town kid and have played and loved this game for quite some time. There is a large group of friends that I have who enjoy it as well. You know it's a good game when in a town so small there's so many people who play it. I have wanted to make a concept chapter for quite a while now and just never knew how to share it so here it is, my concept Served in the Shadows. I put a lot of effort into the backstories of both my survivor and killer and hope that the community can appreciate what I have created. Please comment and drop constructive criticism for me below so I know what everyone thinks, thank you :)

Survivor Concept #1
-Griffin Blue

Backstory:

Griffin Blue was just your ordinary high school kid. He scored average grades in every class, and only ever put in medium effort on assignments, the only things that made him stand out was his ability to befriend almost everyone he met and his great memory and attention to detail. He lived his whole life in the small town of Thornwald just a couple hours away from Vancouver, British Columbia, it was quite the scenic town but it did have a few secrets, one of them being the November Masacres. Now every year the townspeople gather to remember the event that shook them all so heavily.
Griffin was only in fourth grade when it had happened but he remembered it well, everyone did, the day that the butcher and his son were accused of murdering and serving the homeless people in the area to his customers. The Hollmann’s were liked by everyone and the whole town was struck with grief the day that Samantha Hollmann was diagnosed with cancer and passed away, ever since then the father and son started to separate themselves from the community and only left their shop to pick up fresh meat. Even though his body was never found doctors and investigators determined that he died out in that forest only hours after entering it. That didn’t stop the kids from joking about it, even now in his final year of school, they talk about it.
One night Griffin was waiting for his friends to pick him up on their way to a graduation party, while waiting beside the road he felt the usual rumble of the train going passed his house, abruptly the rumbles and clash of metal on metal ended but the train was still going. Feeling like he wasn’t alone anymore he looked behind him just in time to watch a thick dark mist enclose around him. He began to run, faster than he had ever run before but like a leech the mist was attached to him and draining his energy with every step taken. His feet finally failed him and he collapsed to the ground, seeing the lights of his friends car he decided to crawl but to no avail, his vision slowly blackened and the lights of the car disappeared into the darkness.

OR

Killer Concept #1
-The Butcher

Backstory:
Fraser Hollmann was the son of a butcher, his whole life he had been taught that family is everything. After his mother died it was just him and his dad, Thomas.
When his father fell ill it came down to Fraser to run the business and feed the people. One night as he was throwing out the meat scraps he discovered the body of one of the homeless men in town lifeless up against the dumpster. Knowing that he wasn’t going to be able to keep the store open for much longer with his stock running low he dragged the cold body into the prep room and from there his instincts kicked in, it wasn’t a human body anymore, to Fraser it was just another hunk of meat. The business started making more money and he discovered that the townsfolk were very fond of the meat. He never told his father about it but frequently fed him the best cuts of those he killed. From that one dreadful night forward Fraser would begin his weekly hunts out into the town's streets and alleys looking for any of those weak people he could target.
His favourite area to search was the old train yard on the other side of town, it was easy to single someone out and slaughter them between the rail cars without anyone seeing a thing. One night though he was caught in the act by a young girl riding her bike home from a friends house. He chased her and chased her but she managed to escape, fuelled by pure adrenaline and fear. By the time the sun had risen the whole town knew what he was doing but when the police arrived all they found was the bloody remains of Thomas Hollmann, Fraser was nowhere to be found.

Killer Overview:

Difficulty: N/A

A ravenous killer, able to disturb those who get too close using his power, Insatiable Hunger. He can also Brand survivors to keep them tied down while he hunts the others.

His personal perks, Ground Beef, Hung Meat and Food For Thought, help him to separate survivors from their teammates and offers more negative effects to those he does capture.

Stats:

Movement Speed: 4.6m/s
Terror Radius: 32m
Height: Tall

Weapon: Meat Cleaver

Appearance: Large, muscular build with a tattered and dirty white apron.

Mori: The Butcher steps on the survivors arm and with a big swing of his cleaver chops it off. He then looks them dead on and brings his cleaver down again, this time right between their eyes.

Perks:

Perk #1- Ground Beef
Any survivor who recovers or is healed from the downed state suffers from the broken status effect for 30/45/60 seconds

Perk #2- Hung Meat

Perk #2 (different concept, same name)
You know how to hook your meat in the cruelest of ways. Once a hooked survivor would die they instead become unsaveable and are left on their hook for 4/6/8 seconds.

Perk #3- Food For Thought
After chasing a survivor for five seconds target survivor can’t see other survivors auras and their own aura isn’t visible to any other survivors, this lasts for 10/15/20 seconds after the chase has ended. Survivors auras are still hidden even if survivor is downed

The breathing of Branded survivors within The Butcher’s ability radius is increased by 15% while at full health and 25% while injured.

After downing a survivor press the activate ability button to brand them.

Branded survivors are faced with considerably more difficult skill checks towards both generators and healing and receive skill checks more frequently.
