Is Sprint Burst OP

Nope, pretty useless after the exhaustion nerf.3

After I replaced Dead Hard with it sometimes I feel OP using it.0

Sprint burst is - by far - the weakest exhaustion perk in my opinion. It doesn't help lose the killer at all. It merely helps by giving you distance at the start of a chase which strongly depends on the direction where the killer comes from. I had tons of survivors sprint in my direction or to the left/right which allowed me to get a hit just when the chase started and boom there they are. About 6 seconds in a chase and already exhausted and injured.
EDIT: Also it forces the survivor to walk/waste a lot of time.3 -
It helps you when you're out of place, provided you've saved it, otherwise you're better off running Balanced Landing or something else.

This speed duration seems pretty shorter than earlier.

It's bad design

We have several killers who counter is so no, legion, doctor with the right add-ons, hillbilly, huntress with exhaust add-ons and extreme luck, huntress in general, Clown, wraith, any killer pretty much

It's probably because I find it better than Dead Hard so I'm overreacting lol.0

Depends on what killer you face. There are killer that highly counters sprint burst (clown, doctor with add ons, wraith, billy, nurse, huntress) but also are killers that are highly countered by sb (hag if no traps placed in the direction where are you running, leatherface, spirit without the power charged, pig, myers, freddy, trapper). I usually use Lithe instead of sprint burst / balanced landing because i see it more eff., there are maps where balanced landing is just useless, it depends on your luck, but in every map you will find windows.

It's the most reliable exhaustion perk, it has no requirement at all and it can have tons of utility for reaching objectives fast or positioning. Dead hard can be a nuisance for missing a hit, but good survivors can keep the exhaustion at 99 and use it to sprint to another tile set or a better loop in a chase.

Against certain killers like Wraith and Pig it can be consdiered but its more annoying than OP, most of the time SB users waste so much time walking around saving it it removes the advantage it gives.

After the exhaustion nerf, i wouldnt say so. It did hurt SB more, but it still has the same utility as before. Plus you can manage exhaustion even easier and 99% it. Its still the lifesaver out of the basement, from hooktunnelers, unsafe gens against 1-shot killer and a timewaster before every chase. Imo still a top 3 perk, but its both very easy and very hard to use.

no it's balanced.

It's still the most powerful imo. Guarantees you that first pallet. Can be used at anytime, even after being unhooked for those endgame saves.
Also really undoes certain killers abilities like Wraith, Legion, Pig.

I don't like it. Being forced to walk till you see the killer is boring. I personally use Lithe, is my favourite exahustion perk.0

You can run if you are mindful of exaustion. Except the beginning of a game when you are forced to use it immediately after you start running.0

Or not?Nah. Annoying maybe, but OP? Not really.

Not OP at all but people don't use it right. I use my SB right after I pop a gen to get some distance or as a boost to get to the hook before someone goes into phase 2. If ur saving it until the killer is on ur ass then it's a waste of a perk slot cuz it just buys u a couple extra seconds0
-
It's not OP at all. It's strong, but balanced now with the very smart and well done exhaustion changes.

It has potential, but unrealized potential. If you can pull off a stun or blind against an ambush killer without activating the perk until after they are distracted it can be great. For example, say you hear a Wraith stomping towards you cloaked. If you can burn him with a flashlight (2 seconds aimed at the cloaked wraith) and then activate Sprint burst to get a ton of distance then it can be very powerful. Other than that though, it's okay.
However, most people just use it to get extra distance at the start of a chase.

Nope, if it could be triggered as and when like an ability then I might think it’s OP, but really how long after the chase starts is SB held, it’s prerty much gone in the first 3 seconds and without additional perks and map locations to utilise, it’s difficult to actually escape.

SB before the exhaustion nerf was pretty broken when combined with Vigil. But as of now it's not all that... Most people use BL or DH now.0
-
The most useless exhaustion perk after the exhaustion nerf. I feel like using sprint burst is shooting you more into your own foot because wasting time walking and having no tools during a chase0
-
Not great if I use it I use with tier 3 vigil, so recycles every 32 secs. Still prefer balanced landing tho0
-
Now that Exhaustion has been nerfed, so that fleeing perks won't keep coming off of cooldown during a chase, I don't think it's OP.
Pre-nerf, Sprint Burst + Vigil was just beyond #########. You could easily be looped for all 5 generators and never catch the survivor if they made a build entirely around just running with Balanced Landing and Urban Evasion or Quick and Quiet.
Its overall effectiveness depends on your build. With Urban Evasion, I'd say it's the best one to have. Comparatively, Lithe is a better perk if you run around in general more, and would likely pair better with Dance With Me and/or Lightweight.
Imo, Balanced Landing is king because its secondary effect makes a HUGE difference on your options for fleeing a killer, but some maps it can hardly be used.

It's nice when they camp you and someone unhooks you. You can sprint burst immediately.0

It's situational so I'd say no.
