Imagine if the killer's weapons were the size of their actual hitboxes
They'd be hilariously big

Good thing the weapon sizes don't matter then.
It's impossible to have them look accurate when a character with an axe shares the same hit radius as a character with with a switchblade.
Every killer would have to have their own weapon hitboxes and the bigger ones would be at an advantage.

That would be really nice actually, ofc harder to balance, but would be really sick for gameplay

Freddy would have a friend in the Clown if that were the case.0

They seriously need to fix the hit boxes, though...
4 -
Freedys claws would be as long as Dr William Birkin's ones.

Anything strange is all connections.

Hilbilly's chainsaw would be bigger than him.0

Well yes, that's how hit boxes work.
You realize if the weapon model was to actual hit the survivor model for a hit to register It'd be near impossible to get a hit off on a moving target.

Hitboxes are the true killer of this game, we love being downed and still hearing the missed hit sound of every single weapon.

That vault isnt risky. Are you dumb? I run balanced landing and the killer was a good distance away. That boat is an infinite with balanced landing if you mindgame it correctly, its one of the better loops in dbd since theres 2 windows and 2 pallets.

hitboxes do not exist for killer weapons.
instead the game marks an area of effect in front of the killer, in which the closest survivor gets hit. the weapon automatically gets moved to the survivor, so the whole thing looks good.0
