Rank 1 Incentive

Can we have more of an incentive to become rank 1? Even if you get to rank 1, your progress is reset and you have no “bragging rights” or anything to show for it. 
An in game cosmetic or in game medal or stat ticker that shows other people how many times you’ve been rank one. 
Rank 1 is more difficult gameplay which makes for fewer rewards, so why get there to be rewarded less?

    But didn't you hear? Being a competent survivor main is rare nowadays! Rank 1 players are better than rank 10 players in every way! /s
