NOED, Adrenaline, and The Endgame.

Look: As you know, NOED, is quite the controversial topic throughout the community. With the upcoming changes to decisive, the changes and overall attention to the endgame have significantly increased (to my knowledge), and frankly, I’d like to hear the thoughts on it from a player perspective.
How do you feel about NOED? Why do you like it? Why don’t you like it?
My Answer: I think NOED is fine. It may sound a bit like a crutch (according to some), however, I feel as if the perk is balanced since it is easily countered thanks to cleansing totems, and perks such as Small Game, and Detectives Hunch.
What about Adrenaline? With the upcoming changes to the endgame and the perk already somewhat annoying in the killers perspective, why or how do you see it being nerfed?
My Answer: I don’t run adrenaline much. I don’t have much experience worth it personally, and since I often die before five generators are done, I don’t use it. (Yes, I’m fairly new on PC- however, I have roughly 700 hours or so on console.)
Do you feel as if something could be done towards the endgame? If so, what?
My Answer: The endgame itself is something I think is needed to be addressed in more detail from the developers. Not as the knowledge that we don’t know already, but what they’ve considered as it stands. Have they ever considered alternative escape routes? Like, a timed escape? I don’t know.
What do you guys think?

A crutch on bad players and OP on good players with strong killers.

A perk that enables campers to get away with their crappy playstyle.

Adrenaline is technically balanced right now but would have to be nerfed if NOED was nerfed. Otherwise the endgame instaheal would be too strong.

I think NOED highlights the gap between solo and SWF more than any other perk, and that is what I would lile to be changed.

Give solo survivors information on dull totems cleansed and disable the perk if the killer spends too long near hooks or loses a certain amount of chaser points due to camping. See how it feels then.

survivors get to end game: rewarded!

killer gets to end game: rewarded, for some reason!

and I agree with crusader on giving more info about dull totems

NOED needs to be balanced around new players and solo survivors but without removing it's potency. I think having visual notice of how many totems are left would be useful. And honestly, put it back to when only tier 3 gave Exposed. Yes it made tier 1 and 2 useless but it also limited the amount of weak low rank killers you'd face with it, in ranks where survivors realistically don't have the skill to deal with it.

That's the only thing that NOED needs honestly.

Up there with the generator information, if survivors know how many totems are left on the map, they can choose to pop up the generator and risk everything or try to find and cleanse all of the totems.

Honestly, it would be a huge buff for killers who don't use NOED as well. Survivors would try to find and cleanse the last totem for a non existent perk.

Once people see for themselves how strong the new DS is in the endgame, EVERYONE will start running NOED out of necessity.

Better safe then sorry is my model. As much grief as I saved some of my team by cleansing totems, I've also had to learn the hard way to cleanse totems. There was many a time where I was opening a gate, and then the killer yeets over a window and proceeded to hit me to the dying state.

But yes, a totem counter would be a fine thing for survivors. And for killers too.
