So, after reading the theory post by @Hoodedfengm1n his theory pruposed a crusader, which had me thinking back to around the medieval era. Since I have been conducting my own research I found that the suspended item closely resembles a censer, which was used in Thurible rituals this to me makes me think of both rituals and religion.

There is smoke from this censer as I will call it now which then furthered my thoughts to the plague, where plague doctors would use herbs to try remove any bad smells which would rid off any disease as they thought the black death came from smell.
Another factor was another game called warframe, with a charcter know as Harrow, which is based around the whole religious medieval era, with one of his abilitys is called "Thurible" which again implies religion or rituals. Along with his appearence based around a priest.

So where am I going, well I think we might be getting either a priest or plague doctor killer, I'm more leaning toward plague doctor as it's more intimidating and is still from that time where religion was very prominent at that time, maybe perhaps the herbs are being burnt in the censer to remove the peoples protection from the plague?

Now maybe I've looked into this a wee bit too much, but that is what I think, and I'd say it makes a fair amount of sense. So, perhaps the next killer is "The Plague"

I don’t know, I think the teaser looks a lot like a cathedral. Frankly, I hope it’s a shaman or a nun.
Cool theory though- never would’ve thought of that.
