New Killer Idea. With Perks

I originally posted this on the general discussions page but I figured it will get more reception and constructive criticism here.

The Wrecker. (Name is WIP)

The Wrecker looks like a construction worker two-handing a metal rod with a lump of concrete at the end.

  • He travels at 113% movement speed.
  • Is around the Trapper's height.
  • He has a 32 meter terror radius.

Demolition Swing:

The Wrecker becomes enraged and swings his sledge with all his might powering through anything in his way.

  • Allows The Wrecker to instantly destroy pallets.
  • Demolition Swing must be charged.
  • Demolition swing can put survivors into the injured state but NOT the dying state. (An add on could allow this)
  • When a Survivor is hit with Demolition Swing, the impact will send the Survivor stumbling to the ground. Survivor will be unable to move when they are hit. (The Wrecker will be exhausted after his swing)
  • The survivor will be knocked away from The Wrecker when they are hit with Demolition Swing.

Killer Perks

Nail on the Head: “Show them why they should wear their hard hats.”

When the killer hits a survivor that survivors vision will blur and their controls will be negatively affected (Like being drunk in GTA) while maintaining their speed. Effect will last 1/2/3 seconds.

Sharpened Equipment: “Sharper tools are always better.”

10/15/20% faster entity progression on ALL hooks on Survivors first hook. Effect will no longer take effect if the Survivor is hooked for a second time. This perk will NOT take effect if the killer is within 15 meters of the hooked survivor. (Note: THIS WOULD NOT SPEED UP BASEMENT HOOKS WITH MONSTROUS SHRINE, THEY WOULD COUNT AS SEPARATE THINGS!)

Old Wood: “Old planks aren’t good for building, unless you want someone falling through.”

Pallets have a 4/5/6% chance of breaking when a survivor vaults a dropped pallet, and a 1/2/3% chance of a pallet breaking when dropped (Killer can still be stunned by this).

I hope you like my idea and feel free to throw some of your ideas out to improve it.

If anything clashes with another perk or killer let me know and I will alter it to make it fair.

I am currently working on a design to give this killer so when I get that finished I'll post it

(CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ONLY! DON"T COMMENT IF YOU'RE GONNA BE AN ASS!)

How long would the survivor be stunned after the Demolition Swing? What does it mean for the Wrecker to be exhausted? Is it charged like the chainsaw, or something else?

I think exhaustion like nurse or legion. The time of being stunned is not the best idea. Maybe after hitting they don't get bonus speed for 1 second as usual after hitting.

If the progression of entity is faster only maximum 5% and only in the first hook state and doesn't stack with monstrous shrine, thanks but the weakest perk I have seen. Maybe 10/15/20% cuz it is only first hook state. If you wanna see my idea, c'mon and take a look.

Hahahaha, the way you describe the ability reminds me of the Charger of left 4 dead, good times.

Sounds useable, but i dislike the 113% movement and 'doesnt damage injured people' part..

-Instead of nurses fatigue you might consider Hillbillys selfstun as aftereffect.

-Might be because of that charger image in my head, but does your ability hit all survivors in a cone in front the killer or does it hit only 1? Is it controllable like leatherface's or has a steering penalty like HB?

I like the concept of denying the survivors their after-hit sprint burst, and the image of them steering into walls with that perk seems funny.

Oh I remember this one, don't remember if I commented on it. He's kind of like one of the saw bros except it's not an instadown. I like that it stumbles Survivors, that could be used near pallets and maybe prevent someone from unhooking even if they aren't hit with the weapon.

Sharpened equipment seems too weak at 5%, Monstrous Shrine is 9% and that makes the 1st phase 54sec compared to a normal 60, I think it should be higher to merit anyone wanting to use this perk.

Old Wood, I don't know how often those percentages would make the pallet break, I think it would actually have to be tested but I think it would be really cool.

@Raptorrotas I made it 113% to make it a nice middle ground so people can suggest whether he should be 110% or 115%. I do think his power would have to hit people in a cone due to it being a swing with a large weapon. They also won't lose their after hit sprint burst due to this having the potential of being op af with other killers/ perk combos. You will be able to somewhat control the direction of the swing but once it reaches a certain point you won't be able to change it.

@Snikers The stun for the survivor would wear off a little quicker than the killer since the base idea for the power is to knock survivors away from completing their objectives, basically it's the killer telling the survivor "Get the hell off that." Maybe an addon could decrease the wreckers stun duration to make it roughly the same if not a little faster than the survivors recovery rate.

@RakNieborakYT The killers exhaustion would be similar to the Nurse's due to him exerting all of his energy to swing the concrete club as hard as he can. Also I decided to make the perk numbers relatively low so that people can suggest higher numbers. It's just easier for me to buff things instead of nerfing. I'll update it to where the percentages are higher because I agree, it does seem pretty weak.

@BigBadPiggy I appreciate your work. Come see my own idea so you can tell me what should I change.
