Had this idea back in marth 2017. Thought it would make a good first post. Since i made this, perks have come out that are similar to mine (blood warden, overcharge) but i decided to leave it as is anyway

Seen a picture on reddit of a druid forest creature and people discussing ideas for a killer like him.

Here is a picture I found that's close

Anyway the idea:

Deer skull head with a long wooden spear for a weapon, covered in leaves and has a wooden body. Moves around with the staff forward holding him up.

Ability:

-While holding spear, cannot lunge but can normal attack at lunge range with spear.

-while carrying a survivor, the creature can choose to place down the spear at current location and use it as a hook. Spear is unavailable while used as hook. If survivor is freed, the spear must be collected, if sarcficed the entity will return it to you.

-while not holding the spear, the creature is slightly faster, but has a smaller than normal.l lunge attack.

Perks:

 Overgrown

At the beginning of the game, gens start covered in branches and vines. In order to repair gens survivors must spend 2 seconds breaking the vines. Broken vines alert the killer.

Alternative:

return to nature

When you damage a gen, vines begin to surround it. It takes 10 seconds to surround a gen. Once surrounded vines function as above.

**i don't want 2 perks with the mechanic, could prove op as duck**

Perk 2

Food for the forest:

Survivor life-force fuels you. All hooked and dead survivors increases your movement speed.

Perk 3:

Lost in the woods.

When the first gate is opened, it gets closed and blocked by branches for a minute. After the minute it reopens fully. The 2nd gate is totally unaffected

Map:

Would love to see a heavy forest map come with this killer. Complete with a path and clearings. Could also have caves to change elevation briefly and have a darker hiding place. Bushes scattered throughout to serve the same purpose as corn and fallen trees to supply windows.

Any opinions? All feedback is appreciated
