IT'S TIME DEVS
It's time to bring to the killers another perk slot, 1 or 2 whatever, they are 16 differents perks from survivor vs 4 from the killer.
*Another Idea*
When u have a totem/timer perk and it's destroyed/timer go out, that perk can be replaced with one u choose from the lobby, a least do that DEVS.

Killer perks have larger, more encompassing effects ion their gameplay. Most survivors only run the same handful of perks anyway.

When survivor I always play solo, I have 4 perks not 16.
When you are chasing a survivor it's is you versus them, 4v4 in terms of perks.

Thats the common misconception, it's not a team game it's a 1v1v1v1v1 when solo, you only really help others as it benefits yourself, that is not team play.

Lol in my long "career" as a solo survivor I was never helped by someone during a chase. It's more likely they helped the killer.

1 more perk slot wouldn't be too bad of an idea for killer.
Maybe make it last for a set amount of time? Id on't know.

I’m not even running perks as survivor right now. I play solo mostly and my team helps me, recently i pallet slammed a spirit by a exit gate but she had spirit fury and enduring and luckily a Adam blocked her for me so we all got out.☺️

An extra perk isn’t the solution, and neither is increased gen time. A second objective that is forced is the only solution.

This game needs to get more balanced but a 5th perk slot for killers isn't the solution.
On another note: Hex perks could be designed that way so that they still give the killer a small benefit after the totem gets destroyed. So it wouldn't be a wasted perk slot.

The fact iseach survivor has 4 perks, not magically 16 despite the illusions killers want to use as an excuse for their own bad gameplay. You could have 5 perk slots and yet you'd complain you still needed more perk slots.
It's funny because most often the same people always use the same 16 perks bs yet at the same time claim every group is a man swf swat team. Oh and they all run DS/DH/AD/(insert w/e FOTM perks being used as an excuse).
So if they're all running the same perks that's 4 perks not 16 still no matter how you try and twist it.
You've obviously been place in the wrong killer lobbies, the one below is where you're supposed to be playing.

No, your idea is just not very good.
i personally think more perks could help against swf, but against solo surivors, this would be devestating. So, i still think different lobbys for swf and solo would be a good thing, because then you could balance the killer for both styles.

OP wants to be able to run Ruin as his 5th perk slot. Break your addiction to Ruin and always have 4 perks instead of 3 for the majority of your games.

when i play killer i never use ruin, we know what happened in the firts 15 seconds

i play both sides a lot too, in SWF or solo, but it feels like survivors are more powered since a lot of time...

@JAZC_CR Are you a Freddy main? Then I totally understand why you'd like to have 1 or 2 additional perk slots. For Freddy, it would be okay. For the other killers, not so much.

Perkless survivors vs perkless killers always would cripple survivors more than killers.
They don't have 200 seconds chances anymore, no sprint burst for no reason, no incredible hook saves, no aura reading and especially no self healing.
The killer would only loose a 3 seconds and gone-ruin, a BBQ which is nowadays a pretty useless perk for every killer but nurse and hillbilly, no NoOne Escapes Dead which should be built in in the game and not in a perk, which gives you 20-25 seconds time to hit a survivor before they opened the gate and left and finally no sloppy butcher which makes people heal 4 seconds longer.
Every killer will be much stronger when versing survivors with no perks.
Given the map is not complete bullcrap, which most of the maps are unfortunately, especially with the medium vault buffs.
Haddonfield is a nightmare.
But adding new perks to the killer pool will not solve anything, instead perks need to be adjusted and gen rushing needs to be addressed.
