I think Plague's fountain insta-heal is ruining both killer and survivors

I really don't like the insta-heal when you cleanse infection.

It make killer special skill useless AND it ruins altruism points for all survivor.

Sometime i feel like what's the point for using self-care perk or bring medkit anyway?

I really hop devs are reading this and balance the plague because i really LOVE her design and would love to buy DLC

It removes any sort of momentum that the Plague had.

An even worse thing regarding the fountains themselves is that they all cleanse themselves should all of them become corrupted, so the Plague cannot rely on a strategy of infecting everyone forever. She's punished for not constantly running to fountains and getting corrupted.

If they want to keep insta-heal for momentum or something, i feel like cleansing infection should be take more time and maybe add some skill checkpoint (Get fail checkpoint = start vomiting and give the killer noise indicator)

6 second and get instant healing feel really ridiculous.

Or i also like the idea from this one too:

I don't think the insta-heals are too strong if you take into consideration the Plague's power. She can get you into broken depending on her aim and her add-ons and if she acquires the fountain, she can down you with a couple of squirts. Her vomit doesn't work like huntress's hatchets, either. If someone is crouching out of the way, you can still vomit on them and it has a nice reach, too. EDIT: You can also swing your head around, so you don't need to know their exact location. It isn't limited to one direction.

Not only that, but the fountains would notify the killer of your location if you use it. So, if you're injured, it would put you at a massive disadvantage. I can understand how it's taking away from altruism and most Plagues will want to infect you whether you're injured or not so that they may acquire the corrupt version of their power.

Well, dev just confirm fountain or sickness mechanic will not modify. Kinda very sad.

Guess my altruism points is gonna be really terrible at this late when i face her.

Once everything clicks with her it makes sense for the quick instaheals. Being honest.

you get an insta heal, she gets an insane power up.

i do like the idea. and i dont think its broken in any way

At first I was thinking the same but now not so much. If you get them broken there is a high chance you will down them. If some escape broken or non broken you get power. When they are unhooked and go heal you get power again. Corrupted is really strong you can shoot almost everywhere.

it's hardly insane, huntress hatchets are straight up better lol

That's the problem about her, her balance of both fountain and corrupted vomit.

Yes, her corrupted vomit is hard to dodge sometime and strong BUT the fountain itself also feel strong for survivors for get free healthy

Nerfing both would be great but i guess that's won't happen

But more importantly, the reason why i don't like plague is either i get low altruism points and make self-care/medkit almost useless (unless i'm alone)
