So is Legion overpowered or underpowered?
I've played this game for many many hours but was taking a break when they came out. Now nobody seems to play them and I'm struggling to pin down the community feeling about them. Some seem to say they're low tier trash and others say they're the most op killer in the game... Which is it or is it both?

Legion is broken. He is the easiest and most braindead Killer, still he is not OP.
He cannot be buffed or nerfed. So yeah, I guess you will not get a clear answer about your question.

Hmm so I think I get you... So his kit is not OP or UP but rather just doesn't fit in/belong in the game at all?

Well Legion isn't a very strong killer, strong killers are able to down survivors fast and win the game. Legion can go around survivors safety mechanism and doesn't really have a penalty for missing in frenzy mode. This means that survivors have little they can do to actually outplay getting injured by Legion. But Legion is 110% speed and can't secure a down as easy as Huntress or Hag, which means its hard to win. There are ways to play around Legion(pallet stunning the frenzy or making them respect too hard) but generally its too tricky to pull off.
There are 2 things which make Legion "broken", an add-on called franks mix tape can let you down people by using all your frenzy hits on them with 2 frenzies(3 hits). The other is cutting a chase with someone who has deep wounds on them looking at the ground and following them until deep wounds is too low to survive another frenzy hit or a normal hit.

Weak af, only useful at tunneling and killing one survivor while the others pop all the generators. Can't buff them because their skill ceiling is absurdly low. Terribly designed killer that needs a rework desperately for the sake of the game's health.

Legion is not underpowered, but he is really annoying to face, kinda easy to play (besides from some strategies) and has no counterplay.
Legion is the most hated killer, not because of his strength balancewise, but rather because of his design

People hate playing against him/her. As said earlier, he is a brain dead killer with zero counterplay. He pokes you, you run off and mend, pokes again, mend, poke poke poke mend mend mend. Alternatively it’s Franks mix tape and he just three shots you in frenzy to down you. No counterplay.
He is an absolute headache and I personally find him boring to play as.

It’s funny how many say legion takes no skill but yet he takes more than billy. Oh and to your point OP he is rekt if survivors don’t stay together.

I refer to Legion as the Schrodinger's Cat of killers. Simultaneously being one of the strongest and weakest at the same time.

If survivors have bad movement. Legion can dominate. Problem is there is zero reason to let Legion dominate.
Even in that case though. Any insta down is a million times more valuable than constantly making someone run and mend over and over. Still Its kinda fun to chain hits and I always get a lot of points when I play Legion. Legion+BBQ and pudding woooooo points.

110% movement speed is what gimps them the most imo, making them a 115% would probably be the tiny nudge they needet to be in the right spot, at least its no freddy

They still would have to remove Frank's mixtape, the deep wounds cheesing, the no penalty for missing in frenzy.. Maybe it's best to just completely rework the power too. I agree though 110% is why they are bad and 115% would fix their missing kill potential.

currently id say underpowered.
however, if youd buff him in any way, there would be a good chance for him to become overpowered pretty darn fast.

Good luck. Get ready for all of the contradicting comments. I posted something like this and everyone was just screaming at eachother saying "absolutely no one ever said Legion was op" and in the same post people were saying Legion was op.
Imo he's a mid tier killer that is hard to avoid once spotted. His strength lies in his ability to win chases. He isn't "uncounterable" his feral is pretty easy to avoid with a couple quick circles. He loses tracks so you can generally skate away from him p easy unless it's a really skilled player. Good luck with this post. Nobody agrees with anyone else on Legion, he's up and op at the same time and cant be fixed. He clearly single handedly ruined the entire game lol.
Legion is fine. Learn his counterplay and you won't have a problem. Everyone is just sooo against adapting to new playstyles.

He's absolutely garbage until you play him the devs didn't originally intended. Then he's mid-tier.
People complain about him because he's ######### braindead.
