Grabs
Does anyone else have the problem where you sneak up on someone, start the grab animation, but then half way through it stops? I play Pig and Spirit a lot, so i sneak up on survivors on generators often. What causes this? Is it a bug? Is it intentional? Also happens when trying to grab someone who's unhooking in front of you, especially when they're tapping the unhook to try to get you to hit them. If you get the timing right, and the grab starts, you should get the grab. It's unfair that you don't.

This is a bug that was 'introduced' several patches ago. Yes it gets VERY annoying. But it's basically rng whether or not you grab or not. Most of the time the rng feels bad for survivors and prevents the grab.

The survivor should be more careful, or more observant. There shouldn't be RNG. If I'm grabbing them, let me grab them. If I'm right behind them and they're on a generator, why should I get punished just because they're lucky? That's dumb.
Thanks for the answer. It's just super annoying. Cost me a 4k in my last game because i missed a grab on an unhook in the basement.

Bare in mind when I say rng, I don't actually mean it is actually rng. However, it feels like it due to how punishing it is for the killer. I hope with time they remove the bug because yes, the grab could have made the difference between a slaughter, or a defeat.
Of course when I play survivor I never get lucky, I always get grabbed.

Do the survivors even see the grab animation start? I've never actually seen it happen from the survivor point of view. I've been grabbed a few times, I've been hit at generators a few times. Never seen a canceled grab though.
