Should slugging be bannable?
Ran into a Leatherface who intentionally slugged everyone and didn't hook anybody, forcing all to wait out the bleed out timer.
Should this be allowed or not? What are your thoughts?
IMO since he's refusing to hook intentionally not trying to win(aka. not participating in normal gameplay). And also maybe trying not to win in order to stay in lower ranks(he was brown rank), ruining never players experience. So if he isn't trying to win and just trying to waste peoples time, isn't this holding the game hostage?
P.S. I know the devs have stated that slugging isn't bannable as it's a tactic. But them saying "tactic" I'd guess it means in order to win. Therefore I consider this a different case to normal slugging.

It is a tactic, but i like someone suggesting that Survivors could make use of a way to speed up bleedout.

No, it's a tactic. Slugging isnt holding the game hostage since you're gonna die anyways. He probably should have hooked you guys once you were all down but no it's not bannable

This is basically my point. He has no reason not to hook at the very least someone. Since if he's slugging everyone, there is always the chance someone finds the hatch when last slug alive.
The only reason I see there is, is him trying to avoid ranking up. Since you don't gain anything from slug kills do you?

Slugging isn't holding the game hostage because you are going to die after 4 minutes. So you're not stuck in the game like if you're being body blocked, for example.

I also did say that I wouldn't consider a thing to avoid ranking up a normal intended tactic that is intended to be used by the devs. For example if you go into a game just to wait for the killer to kill you so you depip. It can be done but is it a tactic? It does ruin the normal gameplay.
The main question in this is that is it participating in normal gameplay if you basically refuse to complete your objective to not gain points(blood or rank)? It's not an optional objective to let people bleed out.

Survivors suiciding on hooks isn't bannable either and that is far bigger problem then mere slugging that has tons of counters.
