Question for survivor mains and people who play survivor
Would you be willing to put yourself at a greater risk while performing certain actions if it meant they were more interactive (i.e.: less time spent holding M1, more time doing something else)?
I have a few suggestions in mind for how certain interactions can be changed to be more than just holding M1, but they would put all survivors at a greater risk of death. Personally, I don't mind that, but I'd rather get a general idea of what everyone thinks before writing them down, since they may be extensive.

Yes. I would love it. There'd be more fun playing solo.

I personally would love it.

It will be easier to run ur own DBD clone and company than changing that

Absolutly yes, risking things at its own is already fun. Holding M1 is basically watching grass growing, but just a little bit faster lol.
As long as you idea sounds fair and fun I'm all in to support that!
(Btw I play both sides pretty equaly, currently more killer but overall balanced)

Sure, just let me get a team of developers and another team of laywers for when I get sued for copyright infringement.

What do you have in mind? Bc I’m kind of over everyone fighting about generators(doing them puts yourself at risk unless you’re running aura perks), but I’m open to ideas that are more interactive yeah.

Basically just make the interactions more realistic. I'll explain if and when I get enough survivors saying they agree with the idea of putting themselves in more danger for better interactions.

I'd like to know exactly what you have in mind, but yeah I suppose I would be down for more interactions

I'm willing to hear some ideas, but I don't want more-intense skillchecks more often, if that's what you're getting at. Or like, failing checks means the machinery grinds my hands and I'm injured or anything. Well, I'm willing to toss more ideas around.

No skill checks and no injuries or whatever. This is not going to change the interactions, just how they're performed.

Yes, the matches that are the most intense are the ones that I have the most fun when playing the game.

I've always thought that if you blow up the gen your fingers go numb for x seconds and you can't perform any actions including healing during the seconds. You'd also suffer from a hearing loss or reduced hearing range.
You'd be much more careful about being greedy going for those great skill checks etc.

Again, this is not about adding drawbacks or changing the current interactions' effects. This is all about changing how the interactions are performed.

I’m open to ideas. Especially something that involves having to move my character around and not having to sit still holding and button then pressing something to make them align, Bc it’s a real snooze fest. I get the most fun out of hiding for stealth to save, avoid being spotted, or running for my life and hoping to evade the killer.
if it involves moving my character around and something fun. Bc like I said doing generators is a risk now, especially when 95% of the killers (meaning most killers in red ranks)are high mobility and get around maps with ease basically going from generator back to hook, generator back to hook.
So im thinking something that doesn’t involve a single spot where everyone is grouped , but certainly something more fun than generators.
Hit me with what you’re thinking when you gather your thoughts. We’ll give feedback.

Would love some button sequence challenges, would be way more fun than hold this button and tap that one. Or even the current skill check with multiple smaller success zones where you have to hit each one.

Yes
I like getting chased because its interactive and not brain dead

It would be nice if skill checks were reduced proportionally according to your rank. They are too big for experienced players/red ranks, that forces you to use Ruin if playing low mobility Killers... and you know how long Totems stand at those ranks.
