Crows are the Entities workers, and they're lazy.
I always thought it was weird that crows were on every map. How are these living creatures getting here? This realm changes constantly, it's not stable enough for them to just live here. And the entity brings all things to it's realm (the devs referred to the entity as a "he" recently on a stream, but I still think of the entity as an "it")
So my thought is that they are actually the entities workers. Helping it put together the realms for each trial.
I remember that the perk "Spirit Fury" used to have a bit about the entity getting mad about pallets and destroying them for you. And that stood out to me as weird. Why would the entity, who made this area, be mad about pallets? Wouldn't it just whoosh them away?
Well, what if those crows are building the place, and leaving pallets around?
Thoughts?

Crows, along with everything else except killers, survivors, and Maurice, are actually the Entity.

Wait, who's Maurice?

The horse.

i disagree. They are mentioned in the game as cratures of the entity, but not THE entity.
I think they are like santa's elves. Elves that leave pallets everywhere.

They are stupid always landing on the same place.

But the devs confirmed that besides the things I mentioned, everything else is made of Entity. She is the very world the trials take place in.

The reason the pallets are placed is to give the survivors hope to eventually escape the realm. the entity feeds off of the survivors hope.

Devs said that the Entity allowed the Clown to bring Maurice with him, so he's a "standalone" being.
