My idea for a second Game Mode: No loops!
In this game mode, it’s still DBD, apart from looping, and any bull poopoo things are in existence. This is to try and hope to retain the authentic DBD experience as a true horror game.
I have no butt ######### clue how you would code to prevent an entire exploit other than redesigning the basic loops/vaults.
Just an idea, please share criticism on the basic topic of an authentic mode and how the game would work as a whole in a professional manner. Thank you!

I was thinking of a 'Classic' game mode, which pairs the Survivors and Killers together against one another with no perks and only the 3 original maps. Maybe if the game mode has ranking too, the rewards could be retro themed skins for the Survivor and Killers, like the Retro Jason skin from F13TG, except these skins would be perhaps a bit more pixilated or something? Dunno, but that's just my idea. :)

So basically it's an easy killer win gamemode because you're not good enough to deal with loops
K.
Also what's with people saying looping is an exploit? Do you want me to roll over for you so you get an easy hook?

Ohh another killer complaining about game being too hard. GITGUD.

They said looping wasn't supposed to happen, but they can't speed up the killer, right? How about if there were some bigger benefit for dropping the pallet and trying to stun the killer? It would eliminate the need to run around over and over, while taking that pallet out of the game as intended.
The only idea I have that doesn't involve outright shooting the survivor away is to blind the killer or allow them to hide somehow. They're not far away, they're not rocketed out of the killer's grasp, but they can use the pallet to evade and escape, maybe by simply breaking line of sight for a bit so they can hide.
There isn't going to be a simple solution, really. To a survivor, this makes the most sense. You're trying to escape the killer. He runs around an obstacle, so you run on the other side to avoid capture. It's only logical, and your goal is not only to escape, but the added benefit of taking time for your team to win. From their perspective, "How is running an exploit?" Even if the intended means for a pallet was to be dropped immediately, it still doesn't make sense in gameplay or logical terms. You would have to add or change the mechanic involved. If you can do this, you might have a solution.

They can increase the killer's acceleration so that stopping and turning during the loops doesn't slow down the killer, the same way that survivors aren't slowed down during loops either.
EDIT: Oh, and before I forget, no survivor has ever won a chase by looping. They just delay losing the chase; they don't actually win it. Looping does not help you win chases, period.

Fam, it’s just an idea, why do ya gotta get all insulting like that?!? Lmao
i just shared my idea, and you think I’m not a good Killer because of it

I literally just shared an idea that’s I had to get to experience the game in a more authentic manner, why da hell you gotta make it skill based?
“Here’s my idea”

Talking about classic, I want to see a game mode where you can play Dead by Daylight during the early days. I'm talking about patch 1.0.0 so us answers players can see how much the game changed since then.

In response for the post above. This is from beta, but the only difference I remember is the shack didn’t have 2 windows anymore at release.
Playing Killer in 2016 was a chore, it’s pretty spoon fed now. Anybody playing Killer in 2016 is the real MVP. Dark times.
