Plague release?
anyone have any idea for when the new chapter is going to be released for console? i have been a bit mia from the game bc ive been busy and haven't been keeping up.

It’s speculation that it could (emphasis on could) come out on the 19th but if not anywhere between the 19th-26th would be my guess

The idea is that the official PlayStation Japan announced on Twitter that it was coming on the 20th now with time differences that means that there's a strong chance it will come on the 19th as Japan is a whole 13 hours ahead of time... However nothing's guaranteed as theirs been no official statement from BHVR. If it is today expect it to be late in the day.

I got it all lined up: 1 000 000 BP, three dailies done but reward not claimed, and 8000< Iridescents. I know it's childish, but I just can't wait.
I'm wondering though: would it be smarter to level up Ms Gargantuan Ass first? Isn't it usually the case that with a new chapter, plenty more people try playing killer?

Good point. I had a Nea daily and that's the only perk I took (I could only take one of her teachables, since she's level 1). Still, puking on survivors is more fun than using her perks, IMO.

Lots of people are assuming today because of a Playstation Japan blog post.
But the US Playstation blog post makes no mention of The Puke Chapter in their weekly release list.
Good thing we have BHVR being more transparent with the community to give us clarification.

Just yesterday spent my million of BP because I got bored waiting for some statement and the truth is that I do not feel so much hype as in the other chapters. With this matchmaking i dont feel very interesting for play.

Agreed. But they could say the rampant speculation for today is incorrect.
For example, last week some battle pass stuff for Apex leaked, leading to tons of talk that it was coming that day or the next. A Respawn employee posted in the official reddit and put that fire out quickly.

Today is the speculated day and if they confirm it is not today, tomorrow is going to be the speculated day since the PTB got released on Wednesday too.
After confirming that it is not on Wednesday, Thursday will be the day because they usually release stuff on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
So there is no end to this.

Nah, the rumor is the 19th/20th. Squash that if it’s not true, or confirm it if it is. Nothing hard about either of those.
Those are rumored because of supposed “evidence”. What you’re describing is mindless speculation. There’s a difference and no need for them to respond to mindless speculation.
Back to the Apex example, after the developers killed the rumor that it was coming that week, there was no credible talk of any other release date, just more mindless speculation that it was coming yesterday or today.

Will be interesting if PS Japan is actually incorrect. Why would they give a specific date only for it to be BS? Guess the 24 hour clock starts now...
At least we will know not to trust PlayStation leaks anymore if its not out.

I hardly ever pay for cosmetics, but I'm willing to pay for actual content. So I can reserve them shiny shards to buy BP. Will need it: even that will not be enough for getting both of them to lvl 40, plus maxing their perks on all my favourite characters.
