Figuring out the flashlight saves

So, I’ve recently got the hang of the timing for the flashlight saves, but my only issue is not knowing which way the killer will be facing when picking up a survivor to properly position myself. Is there a way to determine which way the killer will be facing to better time the save? Any tips are welcome! :-)

Killer's face is always to the left of the survivor's butt (when facing them to flashlight). So when they pick up a survivor look at where their butt is during the aura and you will know where the killer's face is.

A good killer will always face an object while picking up a survivor and they know there's a flashlight in the lobby.

I actually do that even if I don't see a flashlight in the lobby just in case someone searched a chest.

The killer will always try to face a wall or object, but since you can blind him from the side it doesnt matter at all

So in the event they aren’t in a place to face an object, how could I as a survivor best position myself for the save? Is there anyway I can use the downed survivors position as a indicator to where the killer will be facing?

Not possible, the killer determinates which direction he'll be looking at when picking up a survivor.
