Graphics looks like they’ve been butchered.

Agreed! I'm having trouble keeping track of survivors as well. I'm absolutely hating the game right now. I'm hoping they fix it. I never had problems with fps before.

@Nickenzie @PinkEricka I played last night and didn't notice that much of a difference in the graphics. The game did run smoother.

For me graphic became so bad, and it feels like the game is actually slower than before even tho graphic was better then!!

My game runs so much more smooth on console now and that's all i care about. The graphic changes are so damn minimal it's not even worth bringing up. Stop complaining about every little thing. Consoles can only handle so much, especial non pro PS4's.

These changes are not minimal at all. its nothing but a blurr it was fine before update i didn't have a problem now its nothing but smudge grainy blurr on screen. They should added a setting to allow either higher res with lower fps (like before patch) or higher fps and lower res not force this ######### we stuck with they better fix this

Agreed! The graphics are terrible. If anyone thinks these changes were minimal then they must be blind... 😒😮

It looks the same to me. Graphics and frame rate seem the same as pre-patch. I'm on the PS4 Pro so they might have changed the resolution to get the same frame-rate as on the pro.
Are any other PS4 Pro owners seeing any difference?

I'm on the Pro as well, and I noticed a downgrade on the resolution. The character models used to be crisp. They look like ######### now. It's almost like the specs were set for the upcoming Switch version and accidently went live for the rest of us.
Seeing that I've never had issue with frame rates aside from being connected with a low ping killer, I'm kinda sad I bought the dlc without checking out the patch. Hopefully this is only a stage on the grand optimization roadmap.

Just to be clear. PS4 Pro is basically a PS4 with 10% more processing power.
That's it people. It can play games in 4k... IF YOU HAVE A 4k TV.
I don't. I have a Vizio 1080p tv that does perfectly fine. I didn't want 10% more power... I'll keep my current ps4 as it is.
Anyways... just wanted to clear that up as there's not much difference...

I'm on a PS4 Pro, and the difference in sharpness and clarity is huge. Blurry, darker, murkier, the textures are muddy. I'm finding it harder to clearly see survivors. I think auras are kind of screwy sometimes, too.
I'd rather have worse framerates if it means I can actually see hiding survivors and hook locations. I'm not really seeing an improvement in framerate, anyway, so this update has definitely had a negative impact on gameplay, at least for me.

Same for me. These changes are hot garbage. I had a hard time finding and keeping track of survivors because the game is so blurry. I'm done playing until its fixed. Its horrible!

I'm also on PS4 Pro. Yes, it's blurry. Corn is way worse than before. On top, I don't notice that the game would run more smoothly. If the blurryness was supposed to help with performance, it didn't work.
This absolutely needs to be fixed.

Mine looks fine. I have noticed my performance is better though.

I'm hoping it gets fixed as well. Have thy done anything like this before? I have had the game on console since release, but I didn't really start playing it much until recently.
